This was our first time in a bed and breakfast. The staff was delightful. Property was clean. Location is perfect for shopping and walking in the historic district. I’m giving it 5 stars for what it is-but it’s not a five star hotel. It’s an old house! The food was better than what I would cook but if you love breakfast I hear there are some gourmet breakfast places in Savannah. I would stay here again and recommend to a friend for an affordable bed and breakfast.

The staff exemplified southern hospitality and made me feel welcome 24/7. The breakfast menu featured new entrees each day and provided a good selection of choices. I would definitely recommend the ETH. Thank you!

Lovely historic property, in the most beautiful area in Savannah, other than being on one of the actual squares, but definitely don’t take that as a criticism! We had a quaint, street level suite, which was perfect for me, since I am somewhat disabled (although I don’t think that it would be wheelchair friendly, as there are some stairs to get in and around the suite, and to get to reception and the parlor would be impossible). They went out of their way to provide me with the perfect shower chair, too. Speaking of the parlor, it was totally worth climbing the stairs to partake in the delicious afternoon hors d'oeuvres, served with a variety of wines and soft drinks. Additionally, they serve dessert with port in the evening, which is great. Breakfast is served on the terrace in the back yard, and it’s a lovely experience, the service is excellent and the food is wonderful. We stayed for three nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Savannah with them, would definitely recommend. Plus it is said to be haunted! We are avid paranormal investigators, and although we didn’t do any investigating in the hotel, on one occasion in the parlor, I asked my husband about “Jone’sing” for something he wanted, and then I clearly heard a woman loudly whisper, “I am Jones” behind me! It was wierd, I don’t know who it might have been, but the Inn is located on Jones Street!!

Beautiful hotel and the staff was so helpful. Charles gave us great tips on which tours ro take. The extras were appreciated- free water/sodas, wine & cheese hour, dessert hour, and the made-to-order breakfast, which was delicious each day. Everyone was so pleasant, from the front desk to the breakfast staff. The courtyard is a wonderful place to relax. Location can't be beat for walking all over the historic district. $20/day street parking was super convenient. Will definitely return and highly recommend.

Labor day get away

This house is lovely, the breakfast was delicious both days of our stay. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. The happy hour was a nice treat. The house is in a very convenient area, easy walks to so many places to see, eat, or just rest on a bench. We will stay here again.

From the moment we arrived it was a warm welcome. Jennifer was very informative and pleasant. Everyone went above and beyond to help. The breakfast is a nice experience. Food was excellent. Never tasted the potatoes that good. Everyday the items were different and everyday it was awesome. Had the best experience. Would definitely visit again and recommend it.

This is a great B&B on the beautiful Jones Street! It’s walkable to everything you’d like to visit in Historic downtown Savannah. The staff is wonderful with providing suggestions and sharing stories of their city. The daily breakfast, happy hour and late evening dessert were extra special touches!
