Not responsive. We hit bad weather and wanted to change our stay to another Hilton property in Albany. Expedia tried to facilitate but could not get an answer from the Hilton in Scranton. I have tried to call the hotel directly as well as the Hilton corporate number and could not receive any assistance. Very disappointing.

Nice historic hotel in a historic city

The hotel itself is nice with an amazing history that I read from a picture on the wall with a picture of the original owner and a description of how this hotel came into being. The room was nice and the pillows and bed I felt were comfortable. I wish they had a combo trash/recycle can in the room and I wished they had a coffee/tea station in the lobby would have been nice (I don't drink hot tea from a coffee maker in the room, taste like coffee!) I was pleased to find a refrigerator for leftovers and drinks. The room was dated with the curtains, decor, and the headboard was showing some signs of wear from pillows pressed up against it, as a person sitting up in bed watching TV. The TV was easy to use with a lot of channels. The room and bathroom were nice and clean.

Very nice room, spaciousness. Some street noise, but that's to be expected. Comfortable bed, nice size bathroom. Easy parking. Like most hotels, not enough light in the bathroom. I wish they would consult women when designing hotel rooms. Many times we are there for special occasions that require enough lighting to do makeup and hair. In all my travels I can count on one hand hotel bathrooms that have not only good lighting, but barely adequate lighting. Having said that, we enjoyed our stay.

Location is convenient to shopping, restaurant,major highway the staff are friendly anyone loves to workout there a small gym and pool.. recommend spelled the word wrong that's why I had to say it in I spelled the word recommend this hotel to anyone coming to the area

I walked around the room barefoot for a while until I realized how filthy the carpet was. The bottoms of my feet were black with grime. I had to wash them before going to bed. It just made the whole room feel nasty.

The hotel is dated, the furnace in the adjacent room is very load, tv has no signal, parking garage is not ideal for larger vehicles, and the hostess/waitress at the lobby bar did not acknowledge me at all.
