The hotel was nothing like the photos. It wasnt even at the builing that says Hammock Inn. There was a sign on the door to call a number and when finally got through, they sent me a text to come to a different address. They were friendly. It want the worst room i ever seen but it wasnt the room i thought it was going to get

Good: spacious, very close to bairdwalk and beach access. Off stret parking.. quiet.. Bad: floors felt slimmy and sticky, beds were more like mattreas on cots, windows opened but no screens or locks for safety. If 3rd bed was used there would be litetslly no room to walk through room. Plastic furniture. Seemed more like a room for young partiers.

My husband and I have stayed in many hotels across the US and other countries. Even with us having stayed in $20 motels in Florida, this motel took the cake as the cheapest - looking stay appearance wise. The bed isn't a real bed, but a cot with a mattress. The inside of the room reminds me of a dodgy dental office for some reason. The shower looked a bit sketch, so we just didn't use it. But it is a room with a bed, so it suited our needs for a place to sleep (though $200 for two nights during off season still seems about a $100 too much). I wouldn't want to spend my whole beach vacation here though.
