Location was amazing.Perfect for our small pet as well. We parked our car and walked everywhere.We were told the property slept 8.We had 6 and welcomed an additional family member for one of the nights.Sadly, the bed option for the 7 and 8th guests are single cots that wouldn’t stay upright.That guest slept on the floor in the basement.Not ideal. I wouldn’t advertise this property sleeps 8.We arrived at the property following a funeral and didn’t see all of the paperwork we were apparently supposed to fill out.We were startled to pounding on the door for this paperwork.Kitchen desperately needs updating but is very well stocked.Unfortunately the dishwasher didn’t work and given the timing of our discovery, it made sense to just hand wash during our stay instead of spending a day of our rental while maintenance tried to fix. Property management was very attentive because we needed to make multiple calls. The front door code wouldn’t always work but come to find out the door is old and doesn’t always latch completely. The CO2 alarms chirped the first 24 hrs but maintenance again came and quickly replaced batteries. All things that just happen but unfortunate for us. To no fault of the owner, the homeless situation in seaside seems to have increased and one tried to break through the front gate late one evening approaching my daughter on the porch aggressively as she let our dog out to potty. We had to call the police to get this person to leave (appeared to be on drugs).
