Room was not ready in time, no call to tell us when it was ready, so we had to walk around for 2 hours and check in multiple times. Record player was broken. Room was tiny. Broken elevator meant 15 min wait or using stairs. Room service for dinner not available, though it was advertised .Photos and descriptions were way over hyped.

We liked the ease to use mass transit to explore many of Seattle’s neighborhoods. We did get to see much of the city (car free). The room, itself, in Hotel Max was fine. Everything worked as intended and I had enough room to roll out my yoga mat. Hotel Max is a bit disorganized, though. The room was not ready on arrival. One of the few amenities , a water station in the lobby, is empty 70% of the time. The hotel does offer free beer from 5pm - 6pm; however, there is no restaurant associated with the Hotel (it looks like there was one that went out of business). You can’t get a glass of wine and an appetizer to bring to the room. After a day of exploring, this is our preferred option; it simply isn’t there. The elevators are very small. We opted for the stairs. Floor entry from the stairs does not require your room key, but the elevator does. Our room was definitely not ADA compliant. If you need ADA compliance, I would ask specifically if they have it. Again, the elevators are small. The room’s bathroom has a step up, the sink is dentist style. Never say never, but next Seattle trip, I might give somewhere else a try. Staff was nice, decor in the lobby is nice - Seattle rock inspired.

Elevators, too small, not a terrific place. However, staff was excellent and the afternoon local beer was a nice touch. Super overpriced for what we got.

Hotel is interesting but 1 of 2 very small elevators was broken the entire stay. Very inconvenient for 8th floor guests. Excellent downtown location, walking distance to Pikes Market and the Space Needle. Starbucks directly across the street.

Food and fun for 50

First trip back to Seattle since a college road trip over 20 years ago. The room we stayed in was very large and had effective black out blinds to make sure the sunsets did not blind us. The hotel did not have an attached restaurant at the time we went, however there were some excellent local kegs of beer for happy hour.

Sleepless in Seattle

Two small lifts, one not working for the four days we were there. Paper thin walls with conversations easily heard from our room.Kettles and coffee makers on request ! However a happy hour in the lobby/lounge a bit of fun.
