This ranch is on the mountain and views from the ranch overlooking Sedona town, capital butte, etc, are amazing. The ranch has a beautiful patio outside where you can sit and relax and enjoy the nature.
This ranch is right next to the Sedona airport so you might hear some noises from planes and helicopters; however, it’s minimal and not that bad as the airport itself is not that huge. Indeed, my kids loved seeing planes flying off the top of the mountain.
There is an airport loop trail (name may not sound interesting) that starts right next to the ranch, and it’s very scenic. A mile and half on the trail and you will see views of Cathedral rock, courthouse mountain, and bell rock. The trail is 3.3 miles (as per AllTrails) and it’s advisable to start early in the morning (you will be walking towards the sunny side facing the sun) or late in the afternoon around 5:00 PM (for watching the sunset) during hot summer days.
Overall, this place is great if you want to stay away from main / uptown Sedona. Its quite up there which is good for healing the soul and giving your mind a break from busy city life.
