Dirty Curtains in kitchen, broke microwave door, hot tub did not work, rat poop in two bathrooms, refridgerator did not get cold until 24 hours after we arrived, cob webs in living area. We will NEVER use VACASA again. horrible .

This place is beautiful & has a lot of potential but you can tell no further investment has been made. Perfect layout for our group. However, Faucet in kitchen leaked non-stop. Faucet in bath clogged. TVs need updating - did not work properly. AC filters not changed. No insulation in floors. You can hear conversations in rooms above and any movement resulted in pops and squeaks. Cleaning is needed. Carpet stained and worn. I would not choose to stay here again.

Family getaway

Our family met at this cabin for a long weekend getaway and had a great time. The cabin is spacious with lots of outdoor deck area. The common areas were great for gathering, but everyone had enough room for our own privacy. We loved that every bedroom had its own bathroom, small tv, and deck access. A great perk that wasn’t listed but very appreciated was that one of the ground floor bedrooms was more accessible for my elderly mother (the bathroom in her suite had handicap pull bars by the toilet and in the shower). We were delighted to be able to see bears daily and the mountain view was great for morning coffee. Be forewarned that it is miles to the nearest grocery so it is important to stock up on the way in!

TV didn't work. No hot water in some of the bathrooms. None of the fireplaces worked.

Locked the front door to go to the wedding we were there for and came back to the cabin to fine the front door was unlocked, not opened but completely unlocked.

This is through VACASA not VRBO

I only don’t recommend because it is through VACASA - We had an infestation of spiders. I’m talking hundreds hatched and took over the downstairs. I wish I could post photos. It was as if there was army lines of them crawling up lamps, beds, walls. We requested a refund so we could find a different place. We were refused a refund per our “contract” then sat in three cars with 11 of us and our dog from 9am until 2pm waiting for where we should go. It was ridiculous. Had there not been this issue, we would of loved the place… my 1 star rating is partially because of the spiders but more so how we were treated

Lots of room

This property has all the amenities for three couples. Each room has their own en suite bathroom. There’s also a bedroom with twin beds. I would highly recommend.

Paradise in the Mountains

This was a wonderful vacation my family enjoyed with another family. We enjoyed the hot tub, pool table, and grill every night. There were two bedrooms downstairs; one for each couple. These rooms also had a gas fireplace!!! There were two bedrooms upstairs for the kids, plus two pull out couches. No need for air mattresses! The views from the porch were straight out of a movie. This was a dream come true for us.

It’s okay…

The Wi-Fi is horrible and will kick you off every time your phone locks. The property needs maintenance desperately! The hot tub did not have appropriate chemicals and wreaked of stagnant water! The carpet upstairs is disgusting! Parking is shared, this is not mentioned in the listing.

Smokey Mountains Getaway!

This vacation was fabulous, waking up to that mountainous view was breathtaking! However, there were a few housekeeping matters that were a distraction...... - There were no functioning landscaping lights. Every time I had to go to the car after dark I had to bring a flashlight because I could not see beyond the porch. - There was no globe with drawstrings on the ceiling fan in the 1st floor bedroom off the kitchen, meaning that I could not turn off the ceiling fan unless I turned the light off and that was problematic because my wife worked 3 of the days were there in the bedroom. - The same scenario existed in the 2nd floor master bedroom. - The 2nd floor carpet was soiled, inundated with stains, and included numerous rips....it needs to be changed! - There were numerous spider webs in the ceiling over the dining room table and in the adjacent bedroom. One family member has a phobia of spiders and could not sleep until they were completely removed. - All christmas decorations were removed and stored in the 1st floor bedroom closet and outside the closet. You should not assume that all visitors observe christmas, rather a question should be included in the reservation application during each holiday that asks about the visitors religious beliefs. Or something as simple as, would you like holiday decorations during your stay. We spent the first 30 minutes removing all decorations. We planned to return all decorations but had to extemporaneously leave late Thursday night instead of Friday morning because of the possibility of ice on the road that Friday morning. Other that those issues, which did not deter us from enjoying ourselves, we have an amazing time! We were fascinated by the architectural design and placement of the cabins. We were in close enough proximity to a host of amenities, including the national park. Overall, we had a great time and I will recommend this location to family and friends.

May 24-27 Trip

Renting this cabin was easy, however the cabin itself had a few hiccups 🥴. 1. The front door doesn't have any blinds but all of the other street facing windows have them. 2. The bedrooms have the smallest TV I ever seen in the largest cabinets. This doesn't make any sense 😕. For the amount of $$ it cost per night, bigger TV are needed. 3. The kitchen sink needs replaced ASAP. You have to play with the handle in order to turn off the water. 4. Patio hot tub and bed room hot tubs were dirty. It appears they are not cleaning the jets. (When calling management they did send someone out to clean the patio tub). 5. They need to leave more than 2 or 3 trash bags. 6. The driveway lights need to be on when it gets dark. All other cabins on the street have lights but not this one.

Great house but needs upkeep

We had a great time and the cabin layout is great, but the cabin needs some upkeep. Rocks were falling off the fireplace, the cushions on the leather couches upstairs were peeling, the railing on all the porches were loose. Such a great house, I hope that some upkeep can be done to keep it great!

NYE Stay

Great house with amazing views and everything you need for a great stay. Gas fireplaces in bedrooms and wood burning in main room. Brand new grill and hot tub on the deck. We’ll definitely book again!

Enjoyed our stay!

Rails on upstairs balcony near loft needs a little tlc. Property was very clean. Staff was very helpful with any questions we had. The drive up is a little steep but worth the view.
