Shadybrook is a 2 bedroom 2 bath home resting along the edge of a crystal clear Smoky Mountain stream. Step out onto the large deck from the living area or either bedroom and enjoy a great view of the babbling stream. The deck offers a relaxing hot tub, chase lounges and a table with chairs for enjoying meals outside. While enjoying the outdoors, roast some hot dogs or marshmallows over a fire in the fire pit located at the edge of the stream. Please note that the firepit is seasonal. Back inside, the living room offers a large flat screen TV and an oldschool arcade game. The modern kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to cook your family and friends homemade meals. The bedrooms are spacious with large closets and ensuites; each equipped with a hair dryer for your convenience. Shadybrook has everything you will need to make your Smoky Mountain Vacation a memorable one!

The house is nice, spacious, and clean. The location isn't in the middle of nowhere but it's off the major roads. There are neighbors that are pretty close but the deck with the hot tub is surrounded by a privacy wall. The WiFi is limited and you're penalized for going over the limit, so no streaming no online games no Spotify or YouTube. Cell signal is 2 bars Verizon and I couldn't get anything to load. We downloaded a Spotify list and a movie while we were in town and cast to the TV in the living room. The TV in the bedroom isn't up to date so I couldn't cast to it. I wish I had known about the Internet and we could have planned to bring something else to do because we had plans to stay in most of the weekend but when we left to go get something we just wound up staying in town. It is a really nice little house if you plan on a tech free weekend.

Cell Phone Free Zone

Check-in was relatively easy, the directions to the residence were great, and entry into the residence was pretty simple. The property was fantastic, including the great deck and the small stream running behind the property. Limited wifi usage was a bit of a downer, but the arcade game was great, and no cell service was pretty awesome! We are so dependent on cell phones in every day life, that not having the signal was incredibly refreshing. The road noise while on the deck was very noticeable, but I would certainly recommend this property to family and friends. Thanks for a great vacation!

Family fun

We had a great time! Cabin was clean and we had plenty of room. The only downside was neighbor was closer than we thought. My son wanted to be able to “explore” 😊
