The location of the hotel is great, gives good access to the centre, to supermarkes and bars. The room was big and cozy, great bed/mattress and very nice pillows, at least for me. The cleaning ladies were always in the hallway ready to sort your room out which was very nice to see. They do take the cleanliness seriously here.
I was a bit taken aback by the fact that their standard rooms don't come with a kettle as I've always had one even in a standard 3* hotel room. Perhaps I didn't pay attention to the room description when booking.
The swimming pool is very small and so is the number of sun loungers for the amount of guests the hotel can accomodate. I feel like having the swimming pool is just a push to tick the 4* hotel mark.
There is also a small gym available which looked very tidy and clean.
Breakfast was nice, large variety of foods however the quality of the coffee was quite bad. Unfortunately I could not finish my coffees in the morning. Perhaps new coffee machines with more variety of coffees or new coffee beans?
The hotel has an online check in and check out, however mine didn't work so we had to queue for over 40 mins just to check in. Didn't quite understand why so strict on the 3pm check in time. If a room is already available and the customer arrives at 2.40pm, why not check them in instead of making them wait till 3pm to then queue with everyone else to check in, while causing everyone to get impatient and putting preasure on staff? Something to look into.
