The view is spectacular, very good place, but the building is old and smells dirty, the bathrooms are old and do not work very well. If I would go back to the beach they have, it's very beautiful.

Lakeview and staff are the best part.

Right on the lake. The view was great. They keep it clean without updating anything. The staff was very nice. The rooms were still original to being built in 1973 but the beds and chairs in the rooms could use new mattress and cushions. The price of the best room was expensive for the accommodations but you are paying for the lake.

The view of Lake Michigan is spectacular. I paid $10 more to face north and settled for a Queen Bed versus King to face north. They gave me South Facing room and could have paid $10-20 less had I known they pulled a fast one. Maybe it was Orbitz that didn't understand what they were selling. Either way, I was out the additional money when it was marketed incorrectly.

The room had comfortable seating for my elderly father. The restaurant meal options were good and we enjoyed our meals. I like the breakfast options made to order. There were wall repairs in our room completed badly. Views of Lake Michigan were lovely. It was nice to stay at a place that didn’t charge extra to park. We’ll go back if we have an opportunity.

We enjoyed it. Nice getaway

We had a very nice stay. We loved being right in Lake Michigan. The weather was gloomy but having the lake view was great. Attached Restaurant was great. No need for a coat. Food was good and reasonable. There was music on saturday which we really liked. Yes it is dated but that adds to the charm. Room was very clean. No smells that people talk about except from the chlorine in the pool. The pool and hottub were relaxing. Most times we were the only ones in there. Definately will go back. Nice to start a vacation with only a two hour drive.
