The room and bathroom were clean, but the bathroom was in need of repairs. The accessibility bar near the toilet was loose on one end, the bathtub needed recaulking.

AC unit very noisy making it difficult to sleep. Cycle on and off every 5 minutes. Told clerk at check out but all she did was say “I’m sorry “. Ice machine on 2 floor near our room was not working. TV remote was difficult to use.
So overall a decent place but definitely a downgrade from the usual Hampton Inn. The handicap room was not very intuitive for a real handicap person. The door to the bathroom opened the wrong way. A table with towels blocked the doorway into the bathroom. A hall door that was closed, leading to the handicap room. (Opening this in a w/c is not easy.) There was no outlets on one side of the bed, making using my devices impossible while resting in the bed. The bed size was not a full King size, but a smaller King. All these came to us as small disappointments from a Hampton Inn.
It’s was a great stay! The staff was courteous. The hotel was clean. The room was small but cozy and well laid out. The shower was amazing! Breakfast was good. Love the recycling can in the room. The only issue we had was with the bed; it was very lumpy and uncomfortable. But that wouldn’t stop us from staying again!
Was traveling during move from Baltimore to Atlanta and needed somewhere to rest mid route. A few restaurants around, gas station, etc nearby. Room was ok for what I expected at pricepoint. The lady working the desk on the morning of July 19th would get several raises and promotions. Forgot my work laptop and bookbag in the room while carrying my wife's stuff. Considering I'm moving for a work transfer-not good. Additionally when we were leaving before returning for my bookbag, she offered the items for breakfast that were already prepared-wasn't time for breakfast yet so we could eat before we left for our new home. Hopefully none of this is against standard or policy because she saved the day and went above and beyond multiple times. That's customer service!
The staff who checked me in was not rude per se but extremely unpleasant, unfriendly, short and abrupt. She did not offer me bottled water upon checkin as i have been previously (I saw the bags set up behind the desk). The strong smell of air freshener was overpowering and caused all of my clothes to smell after leaving. This is a huge concern due to a fragrance allergy and unsafe conditions for humans and pets. I’ve stayed at this hotel at least a half dozen times and this was by far the most disappointing stay. This was the first time I was asked to leave a credit card for incidentals which was fine but unusual given that I have stayed here a lot and have never had to provide a CC. Not sure why a portion of the floor in the room was replaced with a hard floor especially since it seems the old carpet was still in place. The minimal cosmetic changes in the rooms seemed unnecessary and did not make them any “nicer”. The back door near the pool was consistently propped open which is a safety issue that should be addressed. The staff at the desk upon check out was pleasant and friendly.
