All I can say, I will not return back to this hotel. Check in on Friday August 1, 2025. Arrive at the hotel with family and rooms not ready. My family member had to wait an hour to get their room. our last night there five (5am) in the morning music was blaring loud could not sleep. Definitely will not be back to this hotel.!!

Second time staying here and it was lovely again to stay and be with family and friends . The rooms where spacious and comfortable . They even had the play pen ready for my baby upon request right away and it was nice and clean as well .

The breakfast alone is reason to stay at La Copa Inn Beach Hotel! It was great! The hotel is conveniently located to the beach and within walking distance of several places to eat, plus their own cafe. The room was spacious, even with 4 adults in it, although the fold out couch was what you would expect from an older couch. No complaints, however!

Our visit to the Copa INN Beach Hotel on South Padre Island was disappointing due to subpar cleanliness and customer service. The 3 pm check-in was chaotic, with a long line of about 20 people outside. Insufficient luggage carts added to the frustration. The slow-moving elevator queue was obstructed by cleaning carts in the wet hallway. Our room lacked towels, and the pool area was dirty, prompting us to head to the beach. However, the nearby public restroom was in deplorable condition, with feces on the floor. After reporting these issues, the staff failed to provide a solution despite a 30-minute wait, further exacerbating our disappointment. The persistent noise from the room above throughout the night made our stay, which was meant to celebrate my daughter's birthday, extremely unpleasant!!!!

La Copa had a very friendly, clean atmosphere. The ocean view was worth the upgrade. The only cons of our stay was that the elevator closest to our room was out of service, but we were close to the stairs & could use the elevator at the front of the resort. We had to call 3 times to get the conditioner filled but the hospitality worker that came to replace it was very friendly. Overall, our stay was phenomenal and we will book La Copa for any South Padre trips in the future!

Let me preface by saying that i have mobility issues. My accommodations began the Tuesday before i arrived when Jeannette happily switched my room to an accessible room. Those that know will understand. The accommodations did not stop there. My husband and i were treated like VIP clients. The room was extremely clean, not a lick of dust in site. I went with my cleaning products and NEVER pulled them out. The staff was very gentle and very helpful throughout the time there. Even offering me a wheelchair to ensure that i got to the beach. When i finally made it to the beach which was a FEAT, the lifeguards stepped in and drove me back to the hotel front doors! When i say my stay was MAGNIFICENT, I mean that in every way. So that i am not writing a book, just know that this place was everything to me. The pool was great, the live band was great and food at La Copa Cabana was very good (i loved the spicy lemon pepper wings, extra crispy). Now the drinks could have been a bit more desirable as far as adding more alcohol. I got to a point where i did not want to waste the money on the drinks and just went to the liquor store. My bed was comfortable and everything was right there for me. The one and ONLY negative is the parking on the weekends. My car didnt move for the duration of the time but others with me toured the town and was not able to find parking upon the return because the restaurant is open to the public.have then park elsewhere so hotel customer can park we tag

Great stay with 1 down side.

The only down side is not to get a room on the 3rd floor under where they serve breakfast on the 4th floor. When they open at 7am and everyone starts moving the chairs around the noise is really bad in the rooms under that area.
