Great location and updated condo

Top floor, center of the building right on the beach. Great views. Finishes and interior of the condo are current and modern. Very nice.

Ocean view relaxation

We were very happy with our condo. Very clean & homey. Excellent view on 5th floor. Centrally located. Comfy bed & deck furniture. Didn’t care for location of pool but not a big deal. Hot tub not working well the 2 times we used it. We would stay again as we travel to South Padre 1-2 times a year!!

Beautiful unit!

2nd time here and look forward to coming back! The unit was exceptional. Beautifully decorated. Amazing views - and when I say amazing I mean amazing! Quiet Safe neighborhood. Comfortable beds. Great water pressure in the showers. Relaxing family room. Fully equipped kitchen. As perfect as the unit was, I have a few complaints with the condo managers. The pool wasn’t heated ( the sign said it would be starting on November 15th but it wasn’t) the hot tub door was in a locked and open position one day, and there was a giant cockroach in the kitchen- but understand they live in that warm southern climate. There was also a surprised unannounced balcony inspection and while the guy with all the keys said he worked for the building he couldn’t produce a business card or ID to verify who he worked for.

Beautiful view

It was wonderful place. Every clean. Everything we needed. Only down fall was, at 11:00 the door locks and you can't get back in. I was finishing loading my truck went back to get my phone , purse and get my trash, the door was locked. SPI rentals was very hopefully, but I guess check out 11:00 means just that.

502 Stay

Great condo. Great view of beach. Condo was nicely updated. We liked how each light switch was marked with what it did. Both baths have only showers. It was fine for us but if you have only small kids not having a tub might be an issue. Light over kitchen table has an annoying hum. Easy fix. Don’t go to this location for the pool. Not well maintained. The appeal here is access to the beach and centrally located in town. Read the checkin and checkout instructions and you won’t have any issues. Keyless entry took getting use to but it was ok. We would stay here again.

Had a relaxing time and LOVED the ocean view and serenity!! Would leave feed back that we would of liked to of had access to beach chairs to bring down to the beach. We flew in and out so bringing our own was out of the question, even if we could of rented or checked them out for the time we were there would of been nice. Also, check-in was in a separate building from the actual condo and that was not explained to us prior, we found out from a local when we couldn’t get in. Hot was only heated day one of our stay and was cold the other 5 days- pool was AWESOME!

Comfortable and great view

Property was just like photos, very clean, no basic cooking oil, etc but store is close by as is property mgt for additional coffee, laundry and paper products . Property was quiet, and upgraded. We loved the balcony and easy access to beach. Would love to stay again!

Fantastic location

The Condo was clean, comfortable and very well kept. One minor thing we learned... The WIFI network and password were not what was shown in the paperwork from SPI rentals. I got the correct WIFi credentials from the label on the router box itself. This info will be needed for the next guests that stay at Seagull 502. We had a wonderful stay and hope to return again sometime soon

Great family vacation

The condo was clean, location was perfect! Beach was a short walk away. Check in and out was quick and simple. A great surprise was how well the kitchen was equipped. Plus we didn’t have a long list of things to do before we left. Just take out the trash. Definitely recommend.

Scaffolding Blocked View

I paid top dollar for this two bedroom, specifically for the view because it overlooked the beach. When I arrived there was a six foot long, five story high scaffolding right in front of the balcony, which stayed there the entire five day trip. Also on the last day, the workers started hammering on the building, waking some of my family. The rental company did reimburse me almost one night’s stay, which helped mitigate the disappointment of paying too dollar. I also received a call that a repair man was going to come and repair the washing machine. I’m not sure why he couldn’t wait until we were gone. This was annoying, and then he ultimately never came. Also, annoying. The last negative comment, which I wish I would have known about the rental, is that there were no chairs, nor umbrellas, or beach toys to use like most of the other condos. I had to rent from a rental company, who was set up farther down the beach. In spite of the scaffolding, if you angled the chairs just so, we got a beautiful view. Also, the condo was pretty clean except for the balcony. It would have been a lovely place to stay if the negatives I mentioned had been taken care of.

Great place to stay

This condo was very comfortable and the perfect place to stay for our extended time (5 weeks) in S. Padre Island. The condo was well appointed with everything that we needed to make our stay comfortable .... including the beds! The condo was spotless as well as the pool and the hot tub.
