I am extremely disappointed with my stay here. There is no staff available most of the time. After 11 p.m., they route your calls to the next door hotel who can literally do nothing for you. My next door neighbor blasted loud music until 5 a.m. and there was nothing anyone could do about it except call the police. The female bartender pretends you’re not there when you walk up for help. They don’t have a front desk. The bartender in the back IS your front desk person. I could never get ahold of the front desk because they leave the phone ringing. I also asked the bartender on Sunday to hold some bread I bought from my hometown in a cool area while I went to the beach. He was so happy to do it for me, and told me they’d be safe in the kitchen. When I arrived to pick up my things, ALL of the bread was eaten and even moved to a different container. Do not leave personal items with them. I was disgusted and disappointed in this hotel. It’s not clean, and the outside area smells terrible.

The rooms were decent and updated. The exterior was okay, but the pool was very small and outdated. The parking area was crowded and tight due to sharing half with public parking. Maintenance was loud in the morning and blowing, what I assume was sand off the deck, for like 2 hours at 7am!

Our stay at Coco Beach Hotel in South Padre Island was absolutely incredible! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcomed and valued. The property was clean, beautifully maintained, and just steps away from the beach — exactly what we needed for a relaxing family vacation. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and well-stocked with everything we needed. Housekeeping did a phenomenal job, and the overall atmosphere was peaceful and inviting. Our kids had a blast, and my wife and I truly appreciated the little details that made the stay extra special. From the friendly service to the convenient location, Coco Beach exceeded all expectations. We made some great family memories here and will definitely be back. We didn’t get instructions on parking and we got a parking ticket, clearly didn’t see the sign at the front entrance saying public parking and no overnight and staff didn’t let us know of parking area thought it was the whole area and we needed handicap parking

The day before we got there, I called to see if we could check in earlier. They told me yes, but I had to pay a fee once we were there. The hotel did not look like it did on the website. Once we were there they give you a parking pass and if you lose it, they also charge you another fee of $40 to replace a paper parking pass, which is ridiculous. The hotel is on the beach, but not worth paying what they charge you were there for the Fourth of July about $740. We got there at July 3 and left on July 5. parking is horrible. We realize that the hotel also allows people to park that are not guest. Next time we go to South Padre. I will not be staying in the hotel.

The price was too high bugs were crawling, no smoke detector, everything in the room was damp due to the air conditioning.some of lights did not work.Parking need to be change and better for guests of the hotel.We wanted the view of the ocean then we get there and it was change to the ocean side. One hamburger $23.00 that over price!

Great place to stay. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. A little over priced, definitely not a 5 star hotel. But, excellent location. Short walk to the beach. Room were comfortable, low water pressure and minimal hot water during peak bathing hours. But manageable. No shelving in the restroom. Had to keep toiletries on the kitchen stove. That was inconvenient. Cant forget the beach bar, nice comfortable and convenient. My only complaint about it is, my tab was charged a 23% large party gratuity and there was only myself and my hubby. Parking is very limited. You get a parking pass but it doesn't secure you a spot. Luckily pretty much everything is in walking distance and we didn't have to drive all weekend. Over all we enjoyed our stay.

Great location with the pool and tiki bar right on the beach. Friendly staff. The only issue was that they promoted a "stay with us, dine for free" deal. When I asked about it, the girl didn't know what I was talking about (even though it was posted on the sign next to the bar).

Have stayed here several times. LOVE IT..--MOST FRUSTRATING thing is finding parking for hotel guest with everyone being allowed to park is spaces---Would be nice to have one designated parking space for each room. Maybe BLUE COCO Beach road cones # room number
