Black tar everywhere!

Hotel.com said I would get charged a specific amount but was charged more. Nowhere on the Hotel.com site said anything about an extra charge! There was lots of sticky black tar on the sand and in water at the beach. It would get on everything and very hard to take off. There was someone arguing Saturday night even the security needed to get involved. A few random people in the pool without a wristband! Place is outdated! Good Location! There were fireworks Saturday night!

It was close and had short access to the beach. We were not informed of the loud band playing outside our condo windows and balcony all night. Full size bed was a sofa bed in which we were not informed of and it broke simply pulling it out the very first night. Called to report but all maintenance said was yeah they have to throw out. Nothing about fixing, crediting, paid in full beforehand, and left sleeping on it for remainder of trip. Queen size bed was good in the bedroom. Cute and quaint place but they need to take reservations on who is booking and try to accommodate which they did not. Better to be without the headache and all the time wasted on calls or stopping by to correct. Just book somewhere else to avoid it.

Really great location on SPI. Almost impossible to beat The parking psss alone makes it worth it since it allows you to park right next to the beach access point. The staff had the condo ready hours early so we got to check in, unload, and head to the beach. We will stay here again the next time we come to South Padre.

I loved the location and all the plants that were on the property. The pools were nice and the condo feel made it feel like home away from home. Right in the beach is great, and lots of restaurants nearby.

What a great property! Excellent location, steps off the beach. Right beside Bar Louie for fun times and good eats. Also beside the pier which does fireworks every Friday and Saturday night from Mid May through summer. Property is old, no elevators, but stairs are navigable, ocean balcony was fantastic. We are certain to come back.

Loved how close we were to the beach, the view of the beach was amazing, and the pool was excellent. Staff was very helpful. Bars and Restaurants short walk next door. Fireworks from our balcony on Friday was fantastic! Will definitely book at the Tiki again.

It was a really nice place but the rooms got hot and I love sleeping in cold conditions but overall great location and friendly staff
