Okay for a Budget Stay

Employees were nice and helpful but overall state of the hotel was subpar. Seems renovation work was done shoddily and some public areas, like the elevator floors were very dirty. Our room key didn't work, the heating unit was very loud, and the overall atmosphere was very grey and unwelcoming due to terrible lighting. The parking area was surrounded by construction, but that wasn't too much of an issue.

Staff was okay. Helpful when we had difficulty initially getting the door to open. But the over cleanliness and upkeep of the hotel was very poor. My wife laid on the bed and almost immediately felt itchy. We didnt want to stick around to find out there might be bed bugs. We checked out, but the hotel was not able to issue a refund because we made the reservation through Expedia. So, I guess I will have make that futile phone call to Expedia.

Travelers beware! We left our room for about two hours and when we returned we noticed that the cleaner took it upon themselves to steal an item from our room. We reported it to the front desk, but left without it being returned. Area around hotel looks very rough and scary. Just go ahead and pay the extra $ to stay somewhere else especially if you’re looking for a clean, honest and decent hotel. Will not return or ever recommend staying here.

Check in person should have told us how to get back to the property because of construction in front of motel. Took 2 hours to find a way in. There actually wasn’t a way in. We went through barriers. Ruined our night and our stay.

For a "newer" hotel, it's already in sad condition. I was highly disappointed in our stay. One of our main reasons for selecting this hotel was because their hot tub, only to find out it was out of order due to a gas line. When we got into our room, the bathroom sink vanity had a huge crack in the skirt portion that went from wall to wall. It had the potential to fall on the floor. It should be replaced. There more cosmetic issues as well...too many to list. The bed was uncomfortable too. It's very springy and you can definitely feel the other person's movements. Lastly, there is a lot of construction going on around the area so getting to it is somewhat of a hassle.

The overall quality of this place was poor - when we were having difficulty to use TV and asked the front desk he did not seem to care about helping us. The carpet in the hallway was very dirty perhaps because of the nearby construction. Some guests were having loud conversation in the hallway at 1:00 am at night.
