Far from the heart of St. Augustine, more than a mile, not walkable for most. Trolley expensive! Bathroom shower fixtures didn't work, lower shower head, but upper one did. Seemed fragile about to break. Fridge tilted toward cabinet doors, drinks fell out everytime opened. Cabinet didn’t close, could be trip/bump into hazard.

Shantel - very nice. Felt as if she was welcoming us into her own home each time we saw her. Girl in laundry rm was VERY RUDE after being told of an accident, that we stripped the bed for her. She rolled her eyes, acted disgusted and didn't say "Thanks" or anything. Just turned - I was going to let her know how ugly her response was but yhisbwould have been a waste of my time. Room was large and clean. Staff was friendly and always helpful. Breakfast was adequate. However, the bed was terrible. Needs replacing. Every move, you could hear the springs groaning. Never had that before.

The room was really dated. We had two small sofas (loveseats) in our room. They were so soiled. Definitely not sitting on them! We were also right on the road… actually thought the traffic was coming through our room.
