Welcome to ‘The Big Picture’! It’s all about perspective and the beauty that surrounds this luxury home will persuade you to slow down and open your eyes to the exquisite natural setting that is St. George Island. Set against the backdrop of the Apalachicola Bay, this magnificent property boasts 5 bedrooms, 4 full baths and 2 half baths.

The first of 3 bedrooms on the first living level of the home, is a master suite with a cozy Queen bed and flat panel TV. Guests staying in this room have access to a private, covered balcony overlooking the driveway and a private master bath with claw-foot bathtub and a separate, tiled steam shower stall. Double sinks make your shared morning wake up convenient and efficient.

Two additional Queen bedrooms reside on the opposite end of the home, each with incredible views of the beautiful Bay marsh via a shared, screened-in porch…..a breathtaking spot to enjoy your morning coffee and greet the morning sun. Both bedrooms offer a flat-panel TV. Both bedrooms access a private bathroom with full bath/shower combination.

Upstairs is the shared living area of the home as well as a fully accessible handi-capped bedroom and bathroom. This bedroom offers easy maneuverability with King bed, access to a private covered balcony overlooking the driveway and a beautifully tiled, large roll-in shower stall with specialty grab bars for your safety as well as a roll-in sink. Pine floors allow for easy movement into the open living space with high, beamed ceilings and plenty of natural lighting. Relaxing in the living room, you can enjoy a movie with family and friends on the large flat screen TV or simply take in the natural beauty of living Bayfront with clear views of bay waters from every window. Multiple doors open onto the large, Bayfront sundeck situated in the treetops, a wonderful place for birdwatching with ample opportunities for sightings of eagles, osprey and more!

The kitchen is a chef’s delight with stainless steel appliances, gas range and a large sink. A convenient pantry is available to store food items and the exceptional, 13-foot granite dining bar provides plenty of space to gather around and recount the days activities. A ½ bath is also available just past the kitchen.

A sleeping loft is located on the top floor of the home and overlooks the living room. This spacious loft offers 2 twins beds, with a convenient ½ bath, entertainment area with flat-panel TV and Roku, books, games and more!

Beautiful days are meant to be shared outdoors and ‘The Big Picture’ offers plenty of spaces to share! A large and private, screened-in swimming pool with a ADA certified pool lift for handicap needs (must be requested in advance), in a relaxing entertainment and lounge area will be waiting for you downstairs. A convenient and fun enclosed hot/cold outdoor shower and an Akorn grill/smoker sits poolside.

The dock is the perfect location to launch your kayak or canoe and explore the beauty of the Apalachicola Bay and surrounding coves. 2 kayaks are available at the property for your use and enjoyment. Please note, due to marsh land a boat cannot access the dock.

The beach is a leisurely 7 minute stroll along the residential roads of the St. George Plantation.
