Noisy and needs repairs
Advertised on VRBO as one level but the stairs to two locked lower level doors were not mentioned. We had a toddler with us and would have brought a gate to keep her safe had we known. The rules are multiple and one was no furniture was to be moved. So we couldn’t block them.
The Bar & Grill is close to this cottage and 2 floor fans were used to drown out the drunks fights at night. One of the rules is that after 10 pm it’s suppose to quiet. Must not apply to the bar business.
2 ceiling fans looked like they would fall out if used.
The description and pictures implied it was close the water. It was about a half block walk, down some stairs to get to the lake and beach.
There is duck tape around the trim of one window. We weren’t sure if it was to keep wasps out because we killed 2 inside the cottage.
The eating utensils were dirty with dried food.
Tons of rules to follow so make sure you read them before you sign the contract.
Hiller management staff were helpful when I called before we arrived. After we left I contacted them to let them know the condition of the cottage and our experience and that it would be reviewed accordingly on VRBO.
