Spend the day relaxing on the beach or pampering yourself at Opal Sands Resort's full-service spa.
Opal Sands Resort offers 230 accommodations with a safe and coffee/tea makers. Rooms open to furnished balconies. Beds feature premium bedding. Accommodations all include kitchens. Bathrooms include bathrobes, complimentary toiletries and hairdryers.

Flat-screen televisions come with premium cable channels and pay-per-view films. Business-friendly amenities include telephones along with free local calls (restrictions may apply). This place is fabulous! Very nice resort. Beautiful setting, restaurants around to walk to. Got a great massage at the spa, too. The only suggestion I would make to the resort is to be a bit less stingy with the snacks in the pantry each day. They are a nice perk, but not if they are all gone right away ! Also, the pool and deck areas are beautiful views of the water - gulf front!

Opal Sands is a VERY nice, reasonably new hotel (2016), with access to the PUBLIC beach a few steps away - keep in-mind that none of the big hotels along South Gulfview Boulevard - including the Opal Sands - have a private beach. They assess a $39.55/day Resort Fee which includes things like: a bicycle for each adult guest, in-room coffee, WiFi, water & ice, fruit & granola snacks, and access to their gym and outdoor pool & hot tub. This fee is disclosed by Expedia. Food, beverages, and other hotel services (such as the spa) of course are additional. There are no vending machines on the property. What is not disclosed: if you're driving to the property, you'll be charged $42.80/day for the car-park; there is no self-parking. With all room charges, fees, taxes and parking, we paid $576/day for a 4-night (Thursday to Monday) stay, which buys you unobstructed ocean views from every room.
