Friendly and cosy

A cosy and quiet hotel in a small town in the mountains. We only had a stopover on the way north. But hope to get back and enjoy the peace and quiet another time. Very friendly staff. Room overlooking a river.

Stayed at the property on our way to SPA for the F1 Race. Convenient and friendly. The rooms are a BIT dated, but comfortable and nice. Definitely a race weekend crowd. Felt very safe and comfortable. Good dining options in town.

The location is surprisingly pleasant, next to a park with beautiful view. The room is large. However the hotel feels quite run down, filled with very old furnishings and carpet. It is not very clean either.

Definitely not enough parking on a busy night. We had to park where there was no parking space but no one seemed to notice since we arrived late and left early. Staff was friendly but the person at the front desk was also the bar tender and she was very busy serving so it took us about 30 minutes to check in.

Large room with balcony. TV even with 4 Dutch channels (not common). Wifi (WLAN) was weak and often dropped out - no streaming possible. There was cobwebs hanging from the ceiling, but otherwise it was clean. The door rattled when a door opened elsewhere in the corridor (solved by folding an advertising brochure like an accordion and tucking it in between). Breakfast and dinner buffet was tasty. Nice staff. Italian restaurant and 2 snack bars within walking distance.

C’est la deuxiĂšme fois que nous partons Ă  cet hĂŽtel. Tout est nickel ! Nous sommes Ă  chaque fois surclassĂ© sans rien demandĂ©. Tout est relativement propre (Ă  part qu’il ya de la moquette absolument partout). Tout est mis Ă  disposition pour passĂ© un agrĂ©able sĂ©jours. L’accueil est au top. Cependant, vu la superficie de certaine chambre, un petit frigo ou une cafetiĂšre / bouilloire serai la bienvenue. Par la suite peut ĂȘtre une modernisation de l’intĂ©rieur serai top (il me semble que c’est dĂ©jĂ  en cours) Le GROS PLUS : la literie est juste EXCEPTIONNEL. C’est d’un confort digne des 5 Ă©toiles. Bravo la dessus. Je vous recommande vivement cet Ă©tablissement.

3e bezoek aan dit hotel. Ditmaal een schone kamer (vorige keer spinrag/herfstdraden in de zomer). Geboekt zonder ontbijt, maar dat in het hotel bijbesteld. Wie met ontbijt geboekt had, had naamkaartjes op de tafels; wie bijgeboekt had moest maar een vrij plekje vinden. Ontbijt(buffet) is prima. Fijn dat de hele dag koffie/thee beschikbaar is. In de zenderlijst van de TV stonden wel alle populaire Nederlandse zenders, maar die waren niet oproepbaar, helaas. Streaming (podcasts/radio) via de wifi (wlan) was slecht (wordt geblokt), wifi was sowieso matig van ontvangst. Kortom, nog ruimte voor verbetering.

Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Das Superior-Doppelzimmer mit Balkon war sehr groß. ParkplĂ€tze waren genĂŒgend vorhanden. Rihige Lage. Billig, aber nicht preiswert trifft es am besten. Kaffee, Cappuccino, Tee und Kakao waren 24 h kostenlos. Das Zimmer war sauber. Das war es leider auch schon an positiven Aussagen. Das Hotel ist in einem desolaten Zustand. Ich bin schon wirklich in sehr vielen Hotels oder einfachen Pensionen gewesen. So etwas habe ich noch nie gesehen: Tapete im Flur von der Wand gerissen wegen Feuchtigkeit. Schimmelbildung an den Fenstern im Flur im obersten Stock (den Rest habe ich nicht gesehen). Gepolsterte, uralte ZimmerstĂŒhle (Indoornutzung) auf den Balkonen völlig lieblos. Überall uralter Teppichboden, der fleckenĂŒbersĂ€ht ist. In der obersten Etage ein provisorisch geflickter Wasserschaden. Überall sieht man abgeplatzen Putz, gerade im FrĂŒhstĂŒcksraum. Dort sind auch KunstledersitzbĂ€nke, die völlig abgewetzt waren, so dass das Stoffmaterial darunter zu sehen war. Der Notausgang im FrĂŒhstĂŒcksraum war mit einer Sitzgruppe zugestellt. Die Zimmerausstattung ist ebenfalls völlig veraltet. Ein durchgesessenes Schlafsofa gefĂŒhlt aus der Nachkriegszeit. Das ist definitiv nichts fĂŒr empfindliche HygienegemĂŒter. Das FrĂŒhstĂŒck war die 15 Euro nicht wert. Es ist unglaublich, mit welcher schlechten QualitĂ€t sich manche in dem Hotel laut Bewertungen „wohlfĂŒhlen“. Alles könnte ich mit Bildern belegen. Mehr kann ich hier nicht tippen (BeschrĂ€nkung).

chambre sous le toit avec un seul petit vélux et pas de clim. impossible de régler la température de l'eau de la douche et du minuscule lavabo malgré les mitigeurs : passe en continu de glacé à brûlant. Trou au plafond dû à un luminaire manquant.
