The soda machine was empty for both days we were there. Had to go down stairs and pay more for water to take my medication and to get a Pepsi for our mixed drinks.if they are going to have them, at least have them stocked.

REGRETS! Would NOT stay here again.

Overall, our stay was okay, but we wouldn't stay here again. The room was okay, but this hotel/casino was like the one that time has forgotten. Bally's Lake Tahoe needs much TLC. Our room seems to have been recently updated, but it looked like it was a DIY project and the bathroom walls were dirty. The overall condition of the resort was dirty and worn out. The best way to describe our experience was that we stayed in a resort that really felt unattended by staff and lacked much needed attention. Arcade and game room were vacant of any staff and during our three day stay I only saw 1 server on the casino floor and, their cafe offered only a minimal selection of coffees and food items. Our dinner and service at their Cafe del Soul restaurant was nice. However, one nice dinner does not make up for all that was wrong with this resort. Again, in an area that offers so many options for a nice vacation stay, I would not recommend staying at Bally's.

The check-in time was 4pm; we arrive a little after 6 pm. However, our room was not ready. The person who checked us in said the room was clean, but that the bed linens need to be changed and they would do that within 15 minutes, but we could go up to the room. When we walked in the room, it had not been cleaned. I assumed the staff was overwhelmed as they were having some technical issue, but I had to call the front desk twice to get housekeeping up there. Now housekeeping was fantastic. They were super nice and friendly. But that doesn’t change the fact that my room wasn’t ready until 7 PM and the concert I was there to attend started at 7:30. I had zero time to get ready. Given the amount that I paid it’s really disappointing. They did comp the resort fee, but that’s negligible considering my room wasn’t ready for almost 3 hours after check-in time.

The rooms here are terrible. They are dirty and very dungeon feeling the beds are extremely uncomfortable. Staff here are not helpful at all. We asked for a better room amd they denied us and we had no choice but to sleep through the night in that horrific room.

Obviously an older hotel. Rooms are in good condition but the rest of the casino looks run down. Blackout curtains let light in all the way across the top. Beds are older and “saggy”. Delta Sol restaurant in casino had good food and excellent service. The area is very walkable and safe.

The hotel is dated and part of it seemed to be under renovation during our stay. Entrance from parking was dirty especially near elevators. The room was clean and was quiet. We were on the ninth floor. Dining in the hotel was not appealing so dined nearby.

Good Weekend Stay

We stayed at Bally's for a quick weekend getaway. What we enjoyed was the size of the walk in shower, the indoor pool and hot tub with the rock formations, and the friendly staff. What could be improved is the comfort of the bed. Overall had a great time and would stay there again.

The elevators were a nightmare. Took along time to come, 2 didn’t work, could only hit floors at a time. Beds were comfortable but they needed some better chairs to sit in, while in the room.
