Overall, a good experience. The room was pretty basic, paid extra for fireplace and balcony and the fireplace was really small. Pretty views though. Told us upon arrival that the hot tub wasn't working which was a bummer (especially since they charge a service fee), but they said we could use the hotel next door's if we wanted. Great location, super convenient to get to various restaurants and shops.

The beds were sagging and uncomfortable. There were gnats in the bathroom. The shower wouldn’t drain and had standing water in it. The lights had a flicker to them. We could hear the people in the room next door. Front desk staff seemed overwhelmed and as a first time guest did not present full information- pool/gym hours, bar/breakfast hours, kids activities, etc.

We absolutely loved our stay at Cady Hill Lodge! Our room had such a cozy feel, and the beds/beddings were so comfortable (I would suggest maybe a tad more lighting, like one more standing lamp somewhere but not a big deal at all) … we thought the lobby was so cool, and the staff was INCREDIBLE. One of the coolest lodges we have stayed at and are already planning to book again. The only thing we would hope to tweak is even though we know it is off season, maybe the pool would be set up a little more like it is in the gallery photos (a little bare/deserted looking when we went but still loved it!) we will recommend Cady Hill to anyone looking to go to Stowe!!

We booked a deluxe king room, but the bed wasn’t a true king size and the quality was extremely poor. The mattress felt like it was sinking in the middle, likely due to an unsupported bed frame as it had an opening on the bottom. For the price paid, this wasn’t worth it. I expected a comfortable king bed, especially from a room marketed as “deluxe" and given what was paid. Unfortunately, the experience didn’t meet expectations.
