Overall our trip was good and mostly comfortable but we had several issues. Firstly, we had booked an executive king suite for the bedroom (as shown in the photos) however we were initially given a large room with no bedroom. Travelling with 2 kids under 5 we had chosen the room for the bedroom. We queried it and they gave us two interconnecting rooms. They used ripped up cardboard wedged under the doors to hold them open. They had one that was unlocked and could be closed, but the other would have locked and needed a key we didst have to unlock if it had shut, so the cardboard was not really enough to give us confidence that it would stay open. Additionally, there were no directions on how to use the chromecast on the tv and the air conditioner did not maintain the settings we chose and would turn on/off or go hotter or colder than we selected. The lighting in the rooms is also very dim, especially during the day if it is overcast.

Staff was great and helpful. Check in was easy. Building and rooms are tired and need an update. Our room had mouldy shower and a leak in the walls. The wall was bubbled and there was water on the baseboards. Fridge leaked as well and the carpet was wet.

It was overall a great experience. Cleanliness was above average but the hotel rooms and amentities could benefit from some much-needed renovations. The restaurant is somewhat crammed and needs to be expanded to cater for peak periods.

The parking fee was too expensive at $40 and should have been made available AT THE TIME OF BOOKING not after arrival and having to fill out a lot of silly details again which you already had. Conversely, the breakfast was pre-advised but then it was very reasonably priced. I hope somebody there reads this. Otherwise, great hotel and lovely staff esp on reception.

The room was basic. There was a fire alarm at 1.30am and we were all evacuated form our rooms- no apologies - no one ushering us to where we should be. We had a long drive and arrived late - then the alarm - poor sleep and an overall very poor experience. Don't stay here

The room did not match the photos advertised online. I raised my concerns with staff upon arrival, but unfortunately my wife and I were told that nothing could be done. The bar fridge didn’t work, the TV was very old with a poor-quality picture, and the amenities were not well maintained. There also appeared to be minimal staff on duty. On a positive note, the barman was excellent. However, the coffee was disappointing and really needs a trained barista. Room service was unreliable, and so was the parking. Overall, the fit-out is old and tired, and the experience did not feel worth the price. The food itself was fine, but it was significantly overpriced for what was offered. Unfortunately, I would not recommend staying here based on this experience.

Room view was amazing from 8th floor. well room was too cold, no room sleeper provided even after asking, one room chair was broken, not clean as 4 star hotel. Breakfast table were not clean, juice dispensing center was full of juice spill around, no body cares, I have requested them to clean the area and empty the juice collector. I orders fried eggs, the plate was not clean and not a single decoration, it was looking as if some one has just dump eggs on the plate. . Over all dinning experience was below 4 star standard.
