The property was older than I expected from the photos. It was clean, well-lit, attractive, and had plenty of parking. The room was remodeled and contemporary, though the building is older. The staff was friendly. It felt very safe, with excellent lighting all around the property. The soundproofing seemed excellent - we never heard noise from other rooms or outside. The property is attractive, very clean, and well-maintained. The breakfast is advertised as continental, though they had some hot dishes and fresh fruit, too. There are dozens of restaurants of all sorts within minutes of the hotel. We ate well. And, there are many other stores in the area - Publix, Trader Joe's, etc. The homes in the area are nice - making the drive to restaurants more interesting. And the location is convenient. 3 minutes to a beautiful drive around the bay, 10 minutes to the airport and downtown. 40 minutes to Clearwater Beach.

There’s a lot that needs to be done appearance wise. Other than that, the staff was pretty nice, and the rooms were clean. The location is perfect, right next to the airport. And very convenient for dining options.

My biggest complaint is being told by expedia that i paid a $98 deposit and then getting to the hotel and being charged the full amount and that they don’t take deposits. Just made it confusing and if you’re strapped for cash or on a budget i feel this would be inconvenient. The room was okay just very small, i also saw quite a few sugar ants or something in the bathroom area. All of the lights but one didn’t work also. The surrounding area was busy but not terrible, it was really residential once you get off the road the hotel is on. For the price the place is good, but there were definitely some iffy things.

Not Too Shabby

The coffee for The Kuerg was old as was the packets for creamer and the like. The bed was fine and the shower was great. Very quiet location and convenient for our Red Sox v. Rays game.
