Even though the reservation was made well in advance for a handicapped room, there were no handicap rooms available on check-in. Then place smelled of bug spray. Tear in the bed skirt. Staff unhelpful. Breakfast instant everything. Coffee was weak as water. Every attempt to cut corners and operate as cheaply as possible.

Overpriced. That’s the first word that comes to mind. 1: The entire place needs updating or at least a deep cleaning for the carpets and furniture. The chair in my room had visible dark stains and frayed edges. There were deep stains in the bottom of the tub, and you could see where corners had been cut during cleaning on the floor, stuff was left splashed on the wall in the bathroom. 2: I had a very difficult time with the door cards. They kept wiping themselves (without being anywhere near my phone or cards). I went through multiple cards and had to be let into my room the last time by the desk clerk. - Very inconvenient. 3: The ceiling in the lobby is disgusting. Attention to detail when cleaning is small but important. 4: There were bugs and stuff floating in the pool and spa, I don’t think it had been cleaned out in a while. There was a visible line of gunk above the waterline in the spa. 5: The fan in my bathroom did not work at all. 6: When walking on the floor in my room with bare feet my feet would stick to the floor… idk if that’s the cleaning products, maybe too much or lack of? Idk. 7: The options during breakfast did not change day to day. A bit of variety would have been nice, not everyone wants to eat sausage links and eggs every morning. And the coffee is terrible. 8: The second shift desk clerk was absent for an extended period of time while I was waiting (with a food order) needing my key reprogrammed. The entire experience could have been better.

It was a wonderful 5 days. We were there for a rubgy tournament and thought it was great. My only recommendation would be to vary your breakfast options as it gets very repetitive.

A little disappointed that the sheets in the bed weren’t changed from the last person. You can still see the indent of where someone was sitting in the sheets. Property needs to do better with housekeeping and ensuring the rooms are properly tended to and cleaned.

It was fairly easy to get to from the Tampa airport, but the neighborhood it is in was a little sketchy. The bedding and towels were clean and updated, but the carpet was dingy and old, and the elevator had peeling walls and felt ancient.
