The apartment was clean and tidy but a little dated. Beds were comfortable and the small kitchen had everything we needed to self cater. The staff were extremely welcoming and friendly and offered advice on local attractions. The heated outdoor pool was perfect and the area well kept.

Booked the hotel whilst attending a large public event. The booking I made stated payment was to be made at the hotel. I received a call advising if I didn’t make payment 2 days before they would cancel the room. I advised that I had planned to pay on arrival and the lady said “it’s because of people like you that we have to make these phone calls” and proceeded to advise that if I didn’t give my card number within the next 10 seconds she would cancel our booking. After taking my card number, she said that’s gone through and hung up on me. As for the room - positives first. It is positioned in an absolutely beautiful part with views of the Lake and very easy access with a balcony and table/chairs. The pool was really nice. Big pool and clean. The room however was disgraceful. I’ve been in 70 year old bach’s that are more modern and with better amenities. The shower didn’t have any pressure, the bedrooms were tiny with no extra blankets. Parking was an absolute nightmare and really challenging with a young baby. It was priced up there with some of the better hotels and I could have probably excused the dated decor and musky smell but the customer service was an absolute no no for me. If it wasn’t the global games and there were alternative options we would have gone ahead and cancelled. Understandably some translation is lost when using 3rd parties but some friendly explanation would have changed the whole experience. She even refused to give me her name. Never again

So dated we thought we had entered a time machine and were transported back in time. Door in main bedroom didn't open properly, you had to close it to get to one side of the bed. Went to take a shower and found cleaning paste filling the tray along with a face towel? Appears cleaners gave up a few seconds into the job. Pretty poor.

Room was WAY too hot. A/C did nothing. We stayed December 2025 in a lake front room to enjoy the view, but had an awful time enduring heat in our room. It was 25 degrees outside but hit 34 degrees inside our room with blinds shut and A/C on full. Unbearable for me, but dangerous for infants, seniors or any other sensitive groups. When asked, the staff did not provide any other remedy to the issue. It’s a shame, as the view and location really is amazing. Rooms are dated, but fine except from 4pm-8pm when the room turns into an oven.
