End of vacation

This was our last stop on the way home from vacation. Had tickets to the Brooklyn Zoo the next day so this was a perfect location. Easy to get to, very quiet, nice seating area and good breakfast.

When I arrived I was told that my room with a king bed was not available any longer- I guess they gave it to someone else paying the day of arrival rate?? I was a little annoyed by this as the purpose of taking the time to book and PAY in advance is to guarantee the room specified??

Checked in and they had no rooms available I had to wait for a room. The room they gave me definitely was not cleaned.Had trash from the previous people that was in the room. The whole carpet was soak and wet. Trash was full. Neighbors were screaming and arguing all night couldn’t sleep. I paid almost $400 for 1 night i was better saving a few hundred dollars by staying at a motel for the same type of treatment. Not happy definitely won’t be staying there ever again!
