Missing services means missed opportunities

The hotel facility is great - rooms are plush though a little stuffy - not great air circulation. The biggest issue I had was that my husband and I arrived on a Thursday and most of the hotel services were not available - no valet, gym and spa were not open. Kind of made us feel like 2nd class citizens, when part of the reason we go to this hotel, and what the hotel promotes is a plush hotel experience. Without the services above that was definitely not the case.

The whole casino even the Non Smoking area smells like cigarette and the RV pool is full of floating dead insects .On the positive note, the cafe is good and the staff are friendly and the pool inside the hotel or the adult pool is relaxing. The yard is very peaceful and the lights are pleasing to the eyes.

The rooms were very spacious, the bed was comfortable with lots of pillows. There was a mini-fridge, iron, a safe for valuables and the bathroom was well-stocked. Really enjoyed to pool area as well. However, the weekend crowd was quite noisy and we could hear a party going on in the room right next to us. If you are not the gambling type, I would stay somewhere else. Otherwise, it is a fine hotel/resort.

Very enjoyable stay at Pala Casino overall. Had a nice room overlooking the pool area and could watch the preparations for that evening’s concert. Love the open air concert venue. Food and service at the restaurants was also quite good. Pool service was very good due to excellent staff like Chase and Kaden. Sergio, behind the pool bar, was almost rude and didn’t mix our drinks correctly, but the ones we ordered from Chase and, later, Kaden came out just fine. Not sure what was going on with Sergio. May have just caught him at a bad time even though it was a slow period. If you do go to the pool and need shade get there as soon as they open at 10am. There are very few umbrellas, some were broken, and if you try to move one you’ll get yelled at. They really need to add more shade options as it can get very hot in the midday summer sun there. Also, keep in mind that they do not offer room service for food. But there are several good options downstairs around the casino. Pool cabanas are reserved as comps for frequent guests or high-rollers and are not available for daily purchase.
