Come enjoy life in Florida’s friendliest town: The Villages! Beautiful, updated, contemporary “beachy” guest suite!
Centrally, located in FL In a quiet, friendly upscale neighborhood: 10 min. golf cart ride to Spanish Springs or Sumter Landing for evening entertainment, shopping or eating out. Private entrance thru the garage, into Locked off side of our house: a furnished “Guest Suite”. 1-bedroom( 1 Queen bed only), 1-bath, 1-efficiency room with kitchenette, leather couch, TV and bistro table and chairs and has large back patio/yard, that backs up to the beautiful entrance area of Glenview Country Club/Golf course (not another home behind) - Wonderful place to relax outside! Has ponds, wildlife and waterfalls!
May use "shared" laundry, right off garage.
Rental price is $85.-100.day depending on the time of year. In winter months, I only rent by the whole month.
Includes Utilities and excellent/ highest speed WIFI.
A cleaning fee of $100. and a REFUNDABLE $500. deposit and 7% tax is required -upon BOOKNG .
Home is turnkey. NO smoking. No parties. 1 SMALL dog allowed but must be caged when gone and not a "barker". An extra refundable damage deposit added for dog of $200. and daily fee of $5.00/day.
Wonderful place for 1-2 people to relax and have fun in The Villages.!!

Wonderful Stay – Highly Recommend!

I recently stayed at this vacation rental from May 27 to June 1, 2025, during a site visit, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The hosts were incredibly welcoming, and communication with them was outstanding throughout my stay. The check-in process was smooth and hassle-free.The online listing was very accurate—what you see is exactly what you get. The rental was clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. The location was also perfect—conveniently situated near restaurants, a supermarket, and The Villages’ plaza squares, making it easy to explore and enjoy the area.A special thank you to Darinda for her generous hospitality. Her warmth and attentiveness truly made the stay memorable. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this property to anyone visiting the area.

Lovely and convenient

We needed a place to sleep and spend a few hours while visiting my mother in assisted living for a few days. We did not plan to cook and this place fit the bill. Our hostess was accommodating and welcoming. The entrance is from inside the garage but includes a parking spot in the garage. The yard is lovely and overlooks a stream with lots of trees. The place is clean and well-equipped. It is small but met our needs perfectly.

Great location and accommodations for a one month stay.

Jim and Dorinda were great hosts and we became friends almost immediately after arriving. Our friendship grew as we found to have so much in common. It was as if God directed us to their home. They did everything to make us feel at home. Including the repair of a beautiful park bench that sits in their back yard overlooking water and beautiful landscaping. This was a perfect place to sit every morning and watch the ducks while having my morning coffee. Thanks Dragons for your hospitality!

Nice space

I will start by saying how sweet and considerate Jim and Darinda are. I drove in on Christmas Eve, and was immediately greeted by Jim, who took me around and showed me how to use Roku TV. That was totally unexpected and appreciated. On Christmas day Darinda showed up with a huge plate of delicious food! Are you kidding me…How nice was that! They have a beautiful home, and a nice cozy space for renters. It is perfect for one or two people. It is located in a very quiet neighborhood. I have never slept so well, in a very comfortable bed. I would definitely come back…I highly recommend. Thanks, Jim and Darinda!

In-law apartment in a quality neighborhood.

The in-law apartment worked well for me. The landlords were amazingly accommodating and a delight to deal with throughout my stay. The place was immaculately clean. Use of a golf club was such a plus. The landlords actually parked their personal auto outside the garage to allow me to park my vehicle inside the closed garage for the entire length of my stay. That alone speaks volumes as to the degree these quality folks will go to facilitate your stay.

This was my second time staying at this place. Perfect home base while visiting with my elderly parents who live nearby. Clean and comfortable accommodations. Especially enjoyed our guest passes and and use of the nearby swimming pool.

Perfect in The Villages

Wonderful, clean, comfortable space with good proximity to recreation and shopping. Check in process could have been better, host forgot to provide unit access code in writing. Caretaker in adjacent unit was able to provide access so disaster was averted. Otherwise, everything was great and I will definitely stay there again when visiting family in The Villages.

What a delight!!

My wife and I needed a place to stay for a couple weeks while waiting for our new home to close. We could not have picked a better place! The apartment was very clean, fully furnished and the service we received was exceptional. A perfect neighborhood for our nightly walks through the parks, all the amenities The Village has to offer, and even use of a golf cart and clubs. Darinda and Jim were such a delight to work with. We only talked to them on phone, text and email, but they feel like great friends. They were so caring and checked in often to be sure everything was perfect. It was! the dragons did not breathe fire but were the best host/hostess you could imagine, having us over for dinner, taking us golfing, making sure we maximized our visit to the villages by giving us tips on where to go, using their golf cart & club pool/hot tub!

Darinda and Jim were there to greet us on arrival and very helpful in telling us what was going on around us. The provided golf cart was so much fun. You can reach anything with it. There is so much to see and do in The Villages. And the pools were great! Highly recommend this destination! Wonderful hosts!!
