Where to begin? Booked a twin room, which is supposed to be two separate beds. While the room had two beds, the room was so small that it didn't allow for the beds to be separated. I On double checking what the room looked like on the website, I had also noted that the price of the room had dropped significantly where it was now $100 less/night than I had paid. I had booked the room for 3 nights and the hotel was not willing to refund me any portion of the costs.
On waking up the next morning, i went to take a shower and noted that there was mold on the ceiling and on the vent. There was also no grout between the tub and the wall allowing for lots of water to get under the tub, meaning that there was probably a lot of mold under the tub.
As I had booked through Expedia, I had contacted them to try to get out of the booking after the first day, but HOTEL LiVEMAX Shinjuku Kabukicho stated that the booking was non-refundable and doesn’t allow any exceptions, they’re sticking with their policy and won’t issue a refund.
