Welcome to Bear's Landing, your ideal 4-bedroom, 4-bath mountain retreat in the heart of Northstar! This spacious two-story home is perfectly designed for family vacations and reunions.

Main Level Living Area:
- Great Room: Features vaulted wood ceilings, a cozy wood stove, plush leather couches, and floor-to-ceiling windows framing stunning views of Martis Valley.
- Entertainment: Gather around the large flat-screen TV with YouTube TV.
- Dining: An open-plan area includes a dining table for eight and a separate game table that seats four.
- Fully Equipped Kitchen: A modern kitchen with granite countertops, a gas range, updated appliances, and a breakfast bar with seating for four.

Bedrooms & Bathrooms:
- Main Level Primary Suite 1: King-size bed and a private en-suite bathroom with a double sink vanity and a stand-up shower.
- Main Level Primary Suite 2: King-size bed and a private en-suite bathroom with a double sink vanity and a stand-up shower.

Perfect stay for a group

We had an amazing time with friends. We had four adults and three teens and the set up in the house was perfect. The kitchen had everything you could need. The kids loved the pool table too and having their own separate area.

Perfect setup for 2 families w/ kids

Great layout with 2 bedrooms and kids rooms downstairs, and a game area that was a hit. The kitchen was really nice and fully stocked as well. We had a great time staying here while skiing in Northstar. Thank you!

Nice large place, especially great for families

The place was nice and big with a fun game room. Everything we needed was in the kitchen. Beautiful windows to look at in living room. Comfortable beds. Hot water for showers. Heater didn’t work in one bathroom but it was okay as it warmed up pretty quickly with shower. Great communication from property manager. It’s a little dated in the bedrooms if that bothers you but that doesn’t bother me. I’d definitely recommend this place for multiple families, kids loved the downstairs area!

Great layout for a group

This place was great. Having each of the 4 bedrooms in different "quadrants" of the house, each with its own bathroom, and a 5th 1/2 bath for guests, was superb. Super spacious with tons of seating. We will stay here again if we are heading to Tahoe with a big(ger) group.

Spacious cabin at Northstar

I rented this cabin for a ski trip for my family of four. Was planning on my teenagers in bringing a friend, but no one could go. The cabin was very spacious for the four of us. Shuttle bus to Northstar picked us up right in front of the cabin. Cabin was clean and had all of the necessary amenities. Only problem we encountered was water leaking in the kitchen sink which dripped through the ceiling in the game room. However, the property manager sent someone over to fix the leak. Other than that, we had a pleasant stay and will definitely come back.

Golf weekend

Location of rental was great, right next to Northstar Golf course, and hiking / bike trails. But, there was some sort of issue with the kitchen floor (large hump in it right when you walk in through the garage, with a piece of blue tape marking it so you wouldn’t trip over it)…probably should get that fixed before you rent the place out next time. Also, the garbage disposal has no switch, so no one could figure out how to turn it on (the instructions in the ‘house book’ were totally confusing ). Called the property manager, she was very helpful

Great stay with lots of bears

We had a great time in your house with lots of activity choices and separate areas for different ages. We loved the deck and the huge table where all 10 of us could sit together. The kitchen was fully equipped and had every utensil you could think of and then some. All in all, it was a wonderful multi-age house and we’re looking forward to staying there again!

Northstar 2021

This house was perfect for our multigenerational vacation. Beds were very comfortable and location was great if you like close trail access for walking or running. Beautiful deck with a view of the golf course and Martis Valley. Property is well equipped for cooking. Large kitchen/family room. Downstairs rumpus room with ping pong, pool table and many children’s toys, games and books. Outside horseshoe pits are a bonus. We hope to stay here again.

Great for families

I almost don't want to leave a review in an effort to keep this place a secret. The space was perfect for a family with the upstairs kitchen/living area being great for entertaining and family dinners. The kids had their own space downstairs and at times we couldn't even hear them (is that bad?). The deck overlooking Martis Valley was amazing and had trail access right out the back door. Property management was gracious, even called us to let us know the cabin was ready and we could check in early. Use of the garage was a nice addition as this is not always the case at some properties. We will definitely be back here!

Perfect family vacation house

We were amazed on how much fun the house itself was. The game room downstairs had everything anyone could want for any age range. Every night we played pool and table tennis. Both of the tables and equipment were in great condition! The kitchen had everything you needed and very clean. Towels were cozy for warm showers. Carpet was very clean. He whole house had such a warm feeling to it. I loved that there was family pictures around. Property manager called ahead of time to make sure we knew how to get into house and answered any questions we had. It was a perfect vacation home. We will definitely be staying here again!

This is a perfect place for a family vacation. We were a group of 13 with 8 adults and 5 children.

The common area on the main floor was a perfect gathering place for the family. Every appliance and kitchen tool was available. It would be more perfect when we come again when the community pool is open.

We loved our stay here!

This was the perfect house for my birthday celebration. My three children and I came from three households, so this house was perfect for a visit in this time of social-distancing. The house was spotless and had everything that we needed. The kitchen was extraordinarily well stocked. There’s an extra refrigerator in the garage, which was perfect, because we brought tons of food! The beds were comfortable and the bedrooms separated, so that each of us had our privacy. There were televisions in each bedroom and in the living room. We never used the rec room in the house, but it is very nice. The deck is large with comfortable furniture. There is a very nice hiking trail directly behind the house, which we enjoyed. The neighborhood is pretty, quiet and peaceful. I highly recommend this beautiful house for a perfect weekend in Truckee.

Amazing stay! House was clean and beautiful (kitchen was amazing!)

We loved staying here, cannot wait to return! Our family of five (kids 13, 10 and 10) loved playing pool and ping pong, and we all took advantage of the meadow walk right outside the back yard. The house was as lovely as advertised, but we were overjoyed at the kitchen - we have stayed in rental houses before where the kitchens lacked basic equipment like pots, pans and cookie sheets. That was not the case here - the kitchen was AMAZING with all sorts of pots, pans, mixers, blenders, spices - everything you need to relax for a few days and do some serious and fun cooking. We really appreciate a kitchen that was so well stocked - thank you for making our stay so easy and fun! We will be back soon!
