Preface 1) acceptable overall 2) we're in property management and have an eye for these details (& may be more critical than avg)Overall: house layout is solid. Lots of rooms. the listing UNDERsells a basement king bed. Common space is plentiful. Cute decorations. For good "bones" this is an ok choice! Avante people were ok, but just ignored some things.Cons:(1) the house is run down. Expect a heavily used and poorly maintained feel.(2) Oven had major issues: can't hold a temp; broiler does not function; loose parts; one (dangerous?) burner won't light. AvanteStay ghosted our notes on this issue.(3) water heater had issues. Again AvanteStay ghosted the topic. Yes this has 4 baths but no, you can't use them all. Between 4 baths, the dishwasher, and the very old washing machine, choose any TWO you'd like you use in an hour. Why have 4 baths if you can, you know, use a few to take reasonable showers?(4) carpet is dirty and desperately in need of replacement(5) lighting is ridiculously horrible (burned out bulbs, undersized bulbs, not enough lighting in general)(6) the walls are paper thin(7) mouse poop and open (unsafe) old school snap traps all over the place. If you have infants search closely, they use unsafe traps and leave them in reach!(8) No laundry basket or rack, I had to buy my own.(9) DANGER they don't plow the driveway. Yah sure, "they're checking on it"... spent my vacay shoveling.(10) very few dressers/drawers(11) dirty air filters
