We travel with dogs, so pet friendly is a must for us. The hotel was very clean, inside and out and our room was nice. We really appreciated the complimentary coffee bar too. The area is remote so there aren't many options for restaurants but we went to Denny's close by and it was sufficient. We will definitely stay again on our next road trip.

When you spend almost $200 a night you have some preconceived expectations. Like clean bedding. One of my beds had stained sheets. Like upkept rooms. Our bathroom wall loked like someone threw something at it. You certainly don't expect to have to pay for parking. Especially in a small city. It's not like I was in Vegas or San Francisco, I was in Tucumcari, New Mexico.

Room looked clean. Shower look cleaned did not see hair dirt etc on the tile. One of the outlet plug on thr lamp did ot work. Bed comfortable and the air conditioner was not noisy like other hotels

Dennys is located across the parking lot. No need to drive. Other restaurants are not far but if you are tired that’s the easiest option

The experience was fine. They charge $5.00 for parking! Seriously I told the polite front desk clerk and she said some hotels are doing that. I can say I stayed in hotels from the east coast to the west and never got charged a parking fee in a little remote highway town. Seems like a greedy owner to me. They have a huge area for parking and there were not that many cars there. Otherwise the hotel was fine. They had to give us another room because that room wasn’t cleaned properly. The other room was very clean so I don’t hold it against them because that happens even in 5 star hotels occasionally.

Parking

Was not happy about the parking fee! Was notified at check inn of a parking fee. This hotel is next to two truck stops that you could park at for free. I can understand a parking fee at metropolitan areas but this is a rural town in New Mexico with millions of acres of baron land. Just another way to get ever little dollar out of you they can.
