Perfect place to stay/for Civic Center events.

We were in town for a cheer competition at the Civic Center. We were nice and close to the event. The hotel was great, and clean and affordable. The valet parking was perfect and affordable as well. Everyone was very friendly. Would for sure stay here again.

This Hyatt could be great but the rooms are very dated and have not been well maintained. You can see the years of neglect in the carpets, bathroom tiles and grout, cracks in wall and ceiling plaster, ceiling water damage, threadbare sheets. Now the views from higher floors is great and the lounge for snacks and quick breakfast was a lifesaver.

Disappointed

The hotel was great overall, but the sleeping situation was a major disappointment. The bed was extremely hard, and the pillows were awful—two of the four were ridiculously small (about 12x12) for a king bed. On top of that, the bedding was minimal, which was especially frustrating since it was snowing and freezing outside. My husband and I both struggled to get comfortable and had the worst night’s sleep. For a hotel of this caliber, I expected much better attention to guest comfort.

Nice hotel but

Very nice hotel. The check in staff were great. The staff when I checked out were so-so. I got to the desk and hand over my keys and got a receipt. I asked if there was anything else I needed to do. She said no. I get to the gate to but couldn't leave. A woman in the office there said I needed to go back to the front desk and get a scan code or key. I go back to the front desk and the woman prints out a code, no apology for not getting this the 1st time. I go back to the gate and now the code won't scan. Once again someone in the office has to explain how to use the touch screen. That's 2 different people at the front desk who didn't know the exit process or they didn't explain it to me.

Toilet issues

The toilet would not flush and there was no fitted sheet on the bed, just a flat sheet laying on the mattress. One of the light fixtures was also hanging slightly off the wall. The hotel itself was beautiful and the bed was comfortable.
