A slight hiccup

Staff was amazing...however there had been a gas leak on Wednesday of that week. When we arrived on Saturday there was no hot water and many/most local restaurants were closed. I wish there had been a notice posted. My sister and i were doing a quick weekend trip and would have selected another hotel earlier on Saturday if we gad known. Again staff was super helpful and Tupelo is certainly a place i would revisit when everything was open.

Staff was pleasant. Room was somewhat clean. The door was needing some attention and we found a sock by the bed. Breakfast was mediocre and there was recently a gas leak near the hotel which meant there wasn't any hot water. It would have been nice to know before or as soon as we checked in. Beds where comfortable and the amenities decent.

When we arrived at the facility we found out that there was no hot water due to a gas leak that had caused the entire Tupelo area to not have any gas service. While this was not the fault of the facility it would have been nice to have had that noted on the booking info since the gas service had been unavailable for several days.
