When we first arrived we noticed this "hotel" was nothing like its advertised. The rooms looked nothing like the pictures and you could tell things have not been updated for a long time. The first room we checked into was dirty. The floors were sticky and had dirt/mud clumps everywhere, the bathroom had not been cleaned and had pee all over the toilet and floor, the a.c unit was leaking and rags shoved under it. They offered another room which was also dirty and you could tell someone has used the bathroom. There was hair like someone shaved in sink. The a.c unit also leaked and there was absolutely no hot water in the shower. We didn't really have other options to stay anywhere else as we were coming from out of state for a wedding. At best, this is a $50 a night type of place. We definitely would not recommend this "hotel" to anyone.

Win gone with the wind

Well the location was perfect for our needs. The area was free of vagrants and I did not hear sirens night and day. The hotel service was friendly. However the hotel condition was poor broken worn out furnishings, busted door locks graffiti in the elevator. The management has squeezed all the juice from that lemon of a hotel. I have stayed at other Wingate units and this one just did not meet the expectations of that chain.

Very attentive and respectful staff. They all interacted beautifully with my dog too. The only negative comment is that no one mentioned a $15/ night for a pet which I wouldn’t have any problem if it was stated on anyone’s website including Expedia nor hotels.com.

Horrible bedding

We were there for a 70th birthday party, front desk person was not friendly at all, place was clean, seems taken care of, breakfast was the usual (eggs, sausage, waffle, coffee) nothing special. I will never stay again !, this is why, bed was horrible, just horrible, every move made noise, it is supported by a spring and wire "box spring", mattress was hard and lumpy, even with it being quiet i was up all night, i must say it is not a run down hotel/motel but why so cheap on the bedding, and with that i will never stay there again One last thing, no vending machine, no place to get snack except Dollar general, again my only real complaint it the bed, but that kinda super important to me, I suggest u pass,

I booked with this location because it was close to the event I was working. I arrived to this location at 11:00 Friday evening. I was told my room was being cleaned and it would be available shortly. About a half hour to an hour goes by the lady at the front desk told me my room was then available. I proceeded to the room to find a gentleman in the said room that was being cleaned playing games. He apologized to me and stated he forgot to extend his stay. I then proceeded back down to the desk whereas the same lady that told me my room was being cleaned was. I explained her situation to her. She then goes into the back and returned after a short period of time. She was then in the process of looking for a room for me and had the nerve to say to me we can cancel your reservations and you are more than welcome to look at a hotel elsewhere. I explained to her No, as my other friends were already there and staying as we were committing together back and forth to work. About a half hour goes back and I finally got into a room. Obviously they weren’t cleaning my said room that I told they were cleaning at the beginning. When I asked to speak to a manager there was obviously not one there and I was told I needed to go through Expedia to request a refund! I was not the only patron that this happened to that evening! After working 16+ hours that day all I wanted to do was take a shower and go to bed! But finally got a room after 2 hours of a fiasco!
