Overall, just an okay experience. They charge 30EURO per night for a crib. This is the first time we have come across this. Also, not sure, but we think there were bedbugs in the crib as our baby ended up with bug bites on her face in the morning. Also, they rushed us out in the morning durong check out when we told them the baby didn't feel well. No sympathy shown whatsoever. They just wanted to make sure we were out of the room. We didnt feel like guests.

Very enjoyable stay but breakfast could be improve

We had a very enjoyable stay at Palazzo Veneziano. The rooms were very nice with good walk-in showers. Overall the hotel is well presented. It is in a great location for walking around central Venice but in a quiet enough area with some reasonably priced restaurants nearby. The one area for improvement would be the breakfast. The hot food needs to be hot! Also pan fried mushrooms and tomatoes would be a better option at breakfast than boiled carrots, broccoli and cauliflower. The selection of fruit salad items needs to be expanded beyond prunes, apples and tinned peaches! Also the selection of breads and bread rolls could be improved by adding sliced sourdough for example. On the other hand the selection of cakes and pastries is probably more extensive than most travellers would expect.

We really enjoyed our stay in Venice and this location was quiet while also being really accessible to so many wonderful places. Beds were very comfortable.
