While I appreciate the fact that Travelers Inn is primely located in Ventura, I felt that all the amenities were lacking. The pillows on the bed were small and flat, the sheets were stiff and starchy, and there was no comforter on the bed, only a blanket that did not seem very clean. All the walls were stained or had dirt on them, you couldn’t keep the window open in the bathroom, and we were not provided any soap. We had troubles getting the door of the room to sit properly in the doorframe, and couldn’t get the deadbolt to engage properly from the outside. There was an AC unit which was nice but it was very weak and needed to run for quite sometime before cooling the room down at at all. When going to the bathroom at night we also noticed cockroaches running around in the bathroom. Overall, if it’s just a place to sleep it is alright, but if you were planning on spending any time within your room beyond that it would be pretty lacking.

Roaches in the bathroom, and the place is a real dump. But the worst part of it all was that my wife and I woke up the next day covered in bedbug bites. This place really needs to be shut down or completely renovated.

The only positive comment was that they let me check in early after a long drive. The pictures looked like nothing on the website. The pool was drained and non operational even know they claim to have one and nowhere does it say closed. The building looked run down. The door had a gap. Killed 5 bugs while in the room. Only one light worked. The light on the dresser was missing a bulb. The dresser was broken. Fridge and microwave was dirty. The bathroom was horrendous, dirty, tile cracked, missing and I didn’t even dare to try the shower. The bed was hard and squeaked every time you moved. Very dirty and one lady was extremely rude there. I could hear others trying to talk to her about room conditions and she didn’t seem to care. One of the maids asked me if I wanted to extend my stay as I was checking out. I told them I would never stay here again or even recommend it. Honestly I don’t even know how this establishment is in business and the pictures verse what this place is not even remotely close to what they advertise.

they DID NOT hold our confirmed Expedia reservation - AND they did NOT call us to confirm - they just [apparently] cancelled our confirmed reservation / and rented our reserved room to someone else - and left us LOCKED OUTSIDE AT 11PM WITH NO HOTEL ROOM IN A STRANGE CITY. Horrible Service.

Bad place

First, it shows a hotel with no good look, the terrible lobby, when entering the room we killed a cockroach and a huge spider in the shower , the room in very bad conditions, the bathroom was going very slow, we had to drop the water twice to flow, If there were the window of the show there is no privacy, you can see inside and the steam accumulates if we don’t open the window , the shower door did not have a the mirror of the broken shower etc, the door of the bedroom don’t have lock

Bad experience at the property

Hotels com should not offer this hotel on their list. The standards of the properties on the list should give the travelers the confidence that the property offers at a minimum a good and clean property.

1star is being kind

Roaches. ROACHES! DOZENS OF ROACHES! The fridge froze all my food, and when i turned it slightly down it flooded the counter. The walls were literally dripping off paint and wallpaper. Mold. No security locks. Do Not Disturb is not honored, had a maid try to come in my room without permission. Literal roaches crawled on me in bed. Slept with my own blanket and pillows on TOP of the bed due to the definite signs of prior bedbugs. Though luckily I didnt get them.
