The property is in excellent condition the owners did a remarkable job remodeling and are very detailed on everything from checking in to checking out. The room was cozy and the bed was amazing. I would highly recommend this Motel to everyone one. Denise Nichols

The property is under construction. At 6am the water pipes started making screeching noises. Luckily we were only there 1 night. Beds are very firm, but pillows are super soft. Probably wouldn’t stay here again until after construction

Quiet, unassuming strip hotel on Thompson. They are in the midst of a hotel remodel, so could be construction noise. Our room was nicely remodeled. No drinking cups, so hard to take meds. Inexpensive.

Great place to stay, near Ventura and also to the ferries that go out to Channel Islands. The owner is a super nice guy and looks out for his customer. I accidentally dropped my room key along with my credit card into the drop box on my check out date and owner called me within 10 min to tell me this. I would definitely stay here again when back in Ventura. Clean, and newly renovated.

It doesn’t look like much from the outside but it’s a single level property so we parked right in front of our room which was nice. Room was clean and descent size. A/C worked ok but we travel with a fan. No iron and ironing board. We rode our bike to have dinner at this delicious Thai place nearby Moons Thai Cuisine, then rode our bikes down the way to the Pier which was really nice. A couple of food places are there to eat and have a drink. It was perfect for us to just spend a night while driving through. Next morning we had breakfast at Art’s Corner Cafe another close by restaurant. No issues.

Would stay here again. What the property lacks in amenities, it makes up in charm and very quiet. Great location to Main Street and less than a 15 minute walk to the beach.

Great stay! I like you can park right in front of your room, good for easy unloading and loading. Owner is nice and helpful. Good location for Channel Islands visit, close to beaches, Ventura Pier and downtown Ventura. Definitely would stay here again!

I got an email for early check in which I thought was great because I made good time from Oceano. I got there and the man charged me $21 for early check-in which I have never heard of before and I disputed but I had pre-paid my room already, and I was charged a deposit for "incidentals" I told him I want that deposit back , I brought my own Incidentals! The room was nice , clean, reasonably priced and had a mini-fridge (no coffee maker). He also told me the rooms were sound proof (they 're not), He is hearing impaired, and the street is loud. The motel is nice for the price. Went out with a friend came back tv remote wouldn't work manager was called and fixed it. AC,FAN unit worked subpar, water in shower had bad pressure, pipes made horrible wheezing sound and took longer than expected to heat up. The bed was very comfortable and parking was convenient and there is plenty of places to eat in the area, the area is upscale slums' but seems pretty safe. It's good for a night but I think I'll look around more the next time I go to Ventura
