Getaway Relaxation Trip

Greeted with champagne. The services provided made the stay very comfortable. The hotel is located a walk away from different options for dining. But, if you just want to stay in the hotel offers the Tiki Bar menu which is good and breakfast in the Bistro Cafe. Our room had a balcony ocean front, beautiful view. Next time, I would not go in March to breezy and cool with rip tides.

The hotel was beautiful, enjoyed being right on beach and being able to enjoy the sound of the ocean each night. The bartender was very rude, she said she was “overwhelmed” and just seemed legitimately annoyed we were there ordering drinks. That was the most frustrating part of the trip. The pool was warm, hot tub was beautiful except you can’t use it after dark which was a bummer as well. Hotel is close to a lot of restaurants which was great.

We loved our stay at The Lucie. It was located right on the ocean with many amenities! The cafe had great lattes and breakfast food. I loved the breakfast burrito. The tiki bar was staffed by amazing bartenders who were very friendly! The pool was often shaded by the building but having the option to walk to the ocean was just what I needed. Our room was clean and the staff always had it tidy by noon. We never heard noise from other rooms aside from when people were opening and closing their balcony doors. We walked to The Magic Oyster across the street for dinner. The crosswalk made it safe to do so across the 4 lane road. This is a fantastic location and I look forward to another stay.

We absolutely loved The Lucie! It is a small boutique-style hotel on the beach with a lovely pool and tiki bar for lunch. Steve greeted us warmly at check in and treated us to glasses of champagne and fresh baked cookies! Wish we could have stayed longer!

Good, not great, probably better options out there

Stay was okay. Got in very late 2 am due to delayed flights into FLL. Ended up with a so-so room with a view of the parking lot. Was expecting ocean view but was told none were available at that time. Was too tired to argue about it. The air conditioning in the room was extremely noisy and rattled every time it kicked on and off. Not great when trying to sleep. Bed was okay and room was clean. Easy access to the beach, but chairs and umbrellas have steep rental costs. Not included in the resort fee. Cheaper to go buy one and just give it to a local when done. The tiki bar was fun, drinks are okay but pricey for the amount you get. Coffee shop was terrible. We got breakfast on day one and it took about 40 minutes for a breakfast sandwich for some reason. The coffees are made with a Nespresso machine so don't expect coffee shop quality. Only coffee shop prices. Coffee shop didn't seem to be very busy the entire stay so I'm guessing it wasn't a one off experience. The resort fee of > $35 seemed high and covers nothing most regular vacationing guests would use aside from parking. Maybe towels I suppose. However, the beech access is nice and easy to get to so there is that. It's a relatively short drive to Stuart for fun times and great food. I'd probably look for other options before staying here again though. Just my opinions.
