Amazing little hotel

I was a little skeptical booking here because I'm used to staying at larger chain hotels, but honestly I'm so happy I did. The room was huge and very clean. I had zero issues- hot water and great water pressure in the shower, stocked kitchen area, and the oceanfront view was incredible. Every staff member we encountered from the front desk to housekeeping was very friendly and the location is literally perfect- right by rudee inlet at the end of the beach, so it didn't get overly crowded and you're still within walking or trolley distance to everything. If we vacation here again in the future, I would absolutely book here again!

The room was quite nice and very clean, the staff were all friendly. I would say the biggest drawback was the loud drunk people above us, they spilled their beer and it ran into our balcony. There was also a strong smell of weed. I do not blame Schooner Inn for that. Overall the stay was pleasant.

Comfortable room/bed. Great access to beach in relatively uncrowded area of Virginia Beach. Free electric car charging stations for registered guests. Reasonably priced. But hotel is very dated and is in need of renovation/refresh!
