No a/c on one of the trams which would be nice to know in advance being as though we brought our infant along. No decent wheelchairs. Attendants completely ignored my wife, myself, and our 6 month old baby. I needed assistance pushing my wife who broke her foot the day of check in. Spa gave me a hard time cancelling prenatal massage although I tried to explain she had just broken her foot but was still explained “their policy”.

Nice property but insanely overpriced! They get you everywhere! They leave a cheap tote bag in your room and then they want $13 for it! They charge $55 plus tax and gratuities for breakfast per person and they have a make your own waffle machine that is identical to the one at Holiday Inn! $55 plus tax and tips for breakfast! they could at least make the waffle! I got pasta and tiramisu delivered through room service. The pasta came soaked in a small brown cardboard box. For $70, it tasted disgusting. And then another thing. They actually put monitoring chips on their towels! You get it out of a machine and if you don’t return it, they charge you $20 per towel! I never heard of a hotel putting a security device on a hotel towel! Also, self parking was almost $50 a night! It turned out to be not much different from valet parking. And it was quite far away from our room.While it’s a really nice looking property and has a cool pool with dolphins, I wouldn’t stay here again.

Rooms are good. But walking to and from car to room takes very long time. Tram takes very long too. Also the tram was not working for couple of days. So walking back to room after a full day of activities on island was very tiring. Services like laundry are hidden very far in resort as well with no given direction.

My son has Type 1 diabetes and we expected to keep his insulin in the refrigerator in our room but they keep all refrigerators at a higher than normal level and they have a sign on them stating that you cannot adjust them and not to put food in there or it will spoil. The phone didn’t work in our room so I had to walk back to the front desk and their only solution was to keep my sons live saving medication for me in a fridge used by the staff. We had no other options and it was very nerve wracking. Also, the deck above our lanai cracked when some kids were on it and concrete fell onto our lanai. Nobody was hurt thankfully but the staff’s response was “we’ll have housecleaning come clean it up”. They didn’t even patch the spot so more kept falling. I asked multiple times about the fridge, the phone and the lanai and I got only shrugs from staff members. Next time, stay elsewhere and just buy a day pass for the pools and the lagoon.

It was a beautiful resort. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. However, The tram was always either a 15 min wait or not working at all. It’s a 15 min walk from the palace tower to the main lobby and breakfast. Breakfast was wonderful except there was always a 40 min wait every morning just to be seated. The room was a little outdated but the bed was very comfortable. Staff was all very sweet. It was our honeymoon and they gave us free beverage coupons for this which was wonderful.

The hotel was really big and service was great. The Food wasn’t good and everything is really expensive. The property is clean and the live music at the bar is enjoyable. The adults pool is really small and has no activities, it’s quiet there.

Had the time of our lives. Staff was amazing they had lost our keys to our rental, and the managers made sure they made it right for us. Took care of our valet and resort fees and gave us a cabana. They were amazing

Aging but beautiful property. The boats are being phased out which it unfortunate. The trams are slow, hot and very loud. Lagoon is the highlight. Food good but restaurants overpriced .

The property is beautiful with many amenities. Did not expect the daily charge of $48 for the property and another $48 a day to self-park… so an extra $400 for 4 days!!

The room at check in was filthy, had to have it recleaned. The lagoon was polluted with sun screen oil, it created such an oil slick unable to snorkel. Majority of staff beside bell and valet need customer service training. How easy is it to say good morning smile and be pleasant. Hilton Waikoloa is a waste of money spend your hard earned cash else wear.
