They use a very strong fragrance in the hotel. It is so strong that it will burn your eyes, make you cough and give you an awful headache. They use this fragrance at a toxic level. My lungs where coated and I had an allergic cough for days after we left. Staff is not very kind to your needs and avoids you if they can. We tried to cancel our reservation after one night, we had booked it for a total of 3 nights and they said that it was non-refundable and will still charge us for the full 3 days.We were miserable and packed our stuff and left. Our clothes and bags smelled like that fragrance for days. It was an awful experience I am not sure I will ever stay at a Motel 8 again!!! Staff made us feel like we were bothering them! I will not recommend staying at this Motel 8.

This hotel was perfect for a night during a long drive between Montana and Illinois. We stopped at Mt. Rushmore the evening we checked in and then continued on our journey through the Badlands National Park the next morning. We were given coupons for free drinks and meal discount nearby but were too tired to take advantage. Same thing with breakfast...we were given option of eating at the motel or using breakfast coupons to eat nearby. Unfortunately we had such a good night's sleep in comfortable beds that we missed both options. Every staff interaction was pleasant and we wouldn't hesitate to return.

I was unaware that there were no elevators in the buildingI had a knee replacement done making it difficult to walk up stairs and there were no rooms on the main floor. The check-in person was not very accommodating. I feel I should be compensated for this experience. Would not recommend this lodging to anyone

Bathroom was very unsafe and the size of a coat closet. No grab bars in the bath tub. We were both afraid to get in the tub because of the fear of falling. Was advertised as having a pool however needed to walk across a parking lot to get in the pool that was shared with another motel. The breakfast wasn't acceptable compared to other motels. The price was extremely high compared to the other facilities that we stayed on our trip. We will not recommend or stay at a Super 8 again.

Great place to stay. It’s outdated but it wasn’t nothing I can’t handle. I would stay again. Very simple breakfast which is worth it. ☺️

I stayed here for one night. There isn’t an elevator, so I had to carry my bags up a flight of stairs, but check-in was smooth and the staff even provided coupons for local dining. My room had new carpet, and the bed was very comfortable. The location is also great—very walkable to nearby stores and attractions. Overall, definitely worth staying here.

If you have a problem with room deodorizers then stay away. I asked at the front desk and they said the fragrance in the lobby would not be in the room but it was so strong that it permeated the room which was close to the lobby.
