I tried canceling the room I booked for Sunday and Hotel.com claimed the could not find my itinerary number. I tried canceling it at the hotel and they claimed they couldn’t because it was booked through a third party. I asked for a receipt and I was told the third party would mail it. I still have not received a receipt. Not I have to fight it through my credit card. I feel Hotel. Com and Expedia. I will never nor recommend Holiday Inn Select, Expedia, and Hotel.com.

Absolutely pissed!@

Made my boyfriend buy shaving cream and a razor when they offer them complimentary. The chocolate milk for breakfast was expired two days before our stay date. I got sick from the breakfast. Will NEVER return to that hotel.

Hotel was clean and staff were friendly. The bathroom lights are too bright though and will temporarily blind you in the morning. Breakfast hours were also either shorter than advised or they ran out of food.

Can’t Find Your Reservation

On 8/9, walked into the lobby to check in, just to be told that they don’t see my reservation. I showed them the confirmation email with the right date, right address and the amount I am expected to pay. They still can’t find my reservation. They managed to find a room for us, but when I asked if it’s going to be the same price, they told us that they can’t “price match” per policy. They up-charged our stay. Here’s an idea: go over policy on how to troubleshoot third party reservations. No one wants more points in compensation if there is no chance of trusting IHG in the future. Even when you do the right thing, it’s always customers who have to pay for consequences.
