Although lacks of onsite parking, it’s close to metro and other type of transportation. Walking distance to White House and restaurants. Also there are garage parking options in the area. Room with kitchenette was spacious and comfortable. Downside, didn’t provide a sink and you can hear the outside noises. Other than that very convenient place to stay and will consider again in the future.

The structure is old, but you can tell it’s being renovated. They’ve done a good job trying to remodel it. The room was very clean. However, in the room we were given, which was 401, there was a constant noise all night. It sounded like a machine, some kind of equipment near the room, and it kept us from sleeping. We had a flight the next day, so we really didn’t enjoy our stay there. Other than that, everything was okay. The girl at the front desk tried to access our reservation, to make some kind of change to the payment, but she couldn’t because it was a prepaid reservation through Expedia. Which sucks, because there should still be a way to solve it.

We loved everything about it. The front desk attendant was very nice. Made sure we’d received the parking discount and went through all the hotel’s amenities with us. We had a room with a great view, and lots of space. We loved that each floor had fresh water bottles and water to fill/refill them. The lounge area was quite nice with lots of room. The ability to push a button and have freshly ground coffee (Americano, latte, cappuccino and so much more) was quite nice. For the non-coffee drinkers, they do offer a variety of teas. The gym looked nice, although we only used it for the vending machine in case you don’t want to pay for the room snacks. And for those of you who want to know about safety, it’s a wonderful neighborhood, felt very safe. It was in walking distance of the touristy places, including the White House. And I always love hotels the require key cards to use the elevators and get into the hotel after hours. Great place and will be booking here for my monthly trips to D.C.
