The room was lovely, the common areas were well kept. They had an outdoor courtyard for sitting. It's a 5 minute walk to the metro into DC and a 20 minute drive.

The Archer is a lovely hotel (more like a larger boutique hotel).We stayed in a one bedroom suite on the top floor, and the room had a large balcony that was very private, inparticular as the guests dud not use their balconies.
