The room was spotless & the staff were very accommodating. We did note that the latch on the room door was not completely screwed in, additionally, we dined at the Dogon restaurant & called down to the front desk to get a refrigerator brought up for our leftovers. After 30 minutes we called again, only to be told that there were no more refrigerators available. We found this to be unacceptable for a hotel of this caliber and wonder why there is not a better system for patrons of the restaurant. This was the only mar on an otherwise enjoyable birthday celebration for my husband.

I should have been warned that the entire view from my window would be a tear-down of a building. Even a brick wall would have been better. Not the tranquil view I wanted for my birthday. So I kept the curtains closed. The “in room dining” line just rang. No answer,

The room was okay, very dusty like it hadn't been used or thoroughly cleaned in a while. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful so that was pleasant. Breakfast the next day was a huge miss, overpriced for mediocre serving. We had breakfast at 11:15 which was just leftovers from the buffett and charged $90 for 2. Was not worth it at all. Salamander DC is not what I'm used to for the Salamander experience.
