A charming and convenient stay

This hotel impressed with its beautiful and well-maintained ambiance. The room was charming, impeccably clean, and pleasantly fresh, equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The staff were notably friendly and consistently helpful throughout our visit. A standout feature was the daily happy hour in the lounge—ideal for relaxing with a glass of wine and a nibble on cheese. The location is excellent, just about a 10-minute walk from Dupont metro, with plenty of restaurants and dining options nearby, all in a quiet neighborhood. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a balanced combination of comfort, convenience, and a touch of luxury.

The balcony doors to the room were quite old and difficult to open. There was no AC apparently the city does not allow them to be turned on until April 1. It was 80° outside, 75° in the room they were able to get us a box fan the rooms are good 10-15 minute walk to the metro

The Hotel double-billed me for my stay and now won't reimburse me. They tell you one thing when you contact them and then deny the reimbursement through Orbitz and Hotel Trader. Do NOT give this establishment your business or they will rob you blind!

Nice affordable hotel

The Normandy hotel is conveniently located north of DuPont circle. It's a 15 minutes walk from DC Metro. Staff are all friendly and helpful and very nice. They offer complimentary cheese and wine in late afternoon and breakfast for purchase in the morning. I recommend staying at this hotel if you are visiting DC.
