Great Location, Comfy Rooms… But Breakfast Straight Out of Fawlty Towers ⭐⭐⭐ Pros: • Perfect location — 15–20 minutes’ walk from the White House. • Reception staff couldn’t have been more helpful. They moved me to a much better room after my first night (chlorine smell + noisy generator = no sleep!). The replacement was pool-facing, spacious, spotless, and had a very comfy bed. Cons: • Breakfast. Oh dear. Staff were unfriendly and unhelpful. • No buffet — just three rigid menu options, served by a lone waiter who also seemed to be the chef. • Honestly felt like a scene from Fawlty Towers. • Restaurant doesn’t feel part of the hotel (possibly franchised), with zero atmosphere. • No nearby cafés, shops, or alternative breakfast spots, so you’re stuck with it. Summary: The hotel ticks the boxes for location, comfort, and helpful reception staff. But the breakfast service is bizarrely bad — unlike anything I’ve ever seen in a hotel of this size. If management fixed that, this would be a far stronger option.

Great stay
